Tucker Carlson deliberately misled Fox News viewers last night as he pretended that the Trump impeachment is merely about an unimportant phone call – despite the fact that Carlson previously blasted the call as an abuse of power and corruption.

As Adam Schiff made such an impressive closing argument during Thursday's impeachment trial that even Republican senators reportedly paid attention, Fox News carried out its propaganda mission of making sure viewers missed it.

Fox host Greg Gutfeld provided what passes for credible analysis of impeachment on Trump TV: Likening the Senate impeachment trial to a slow gas leak that will kill you after 10 minutes.

Yesterday, Fox News host Dana Perino opened The Five by telling viewers, “Don’t worry,” the show would not air the Senate impeachment trial of Donald Trump. Then she promised the show would provide “our reaction,” i.e. Fox News spin, instead.

Donald Trump continued his streak of trashing America while on foreign soil when he complained the American Pulitzer Prizes hasn’t awarded any to Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh during a rant that also included attacks on American legislators and the American media.

The Tucker Carlson Tonight show was partially pre-empted by the Trump impeachment trial last night. So an enterprising Fox producer used a banner to make sure prime time viewers got their fix of Democrat-demonization during  the “straight news” coverage.
