Bill O’Reilly visited Jay Leno and the Tonight Show last week and made a startling admission: That he wanted to give Mitt Romney a full hour of airtime the night before the election. And even though O’Reilly insisted he had not given either candidate “advice,” he also revealed that he had told Romney’s “people” that they would lose unless they did something “dramatic” – like coming on O’Reilly’s show for an hour.Read more
Thursday night (12/6/12), Sean Hannity purported to hold a debate with Juan Williams and David Limbaugh about the “fiscal cliff” coming up. Loud-mouthed “patriots” Limbaugh and Hannity, who have done so well in this country they always complain other people don’t love enough, couldn’t stop moaning over the thought of paying more taxes.Read more
Fox Nation hyped a false rape case, using the headline, "Woman Files False Rape Claim Because She 'Didn't Enjoy It." It's a blatant attempt to trivialize and discredit real rape cases via a suggestion that accusations may well be frivolous and phony. Paging "legitimate rape" Todd Akin! In fact, one commenter, "akin4prez," thought this was proof that Akin was right. (H/T Christopher)Read more
Bill O'Reilly's delusional and dualistic world is one in which he is endlessly fighting for "Judeo-Christian traditions" which are being endlessly attacked by the evil forces of secular-progressivism and the "gay agenda." During this week's "Culture Warrior" Segment, Bill continued with his paranoid and now patented whine about this battle for the soul of America - a battle affirmed by his lovely fellow Christmas warriors one of whom was Gretchen Carlson who earned her Factor billet as a result of her militancy about the"War on Christmas." But more importantly, Bill, once again reminded us that he is on a mission from God to lead the battalions in a war that exists only in his twisted mind.Read more
Bill O'Reilly claims that Obama was elected by folks who want free stuff - you know, like medical care for the elderly and disabled, programs for special needs children, subsidized childcare for low wage earners and so forth. But it turns out that O'Reilly, who is a bit of a Scrooge when it comes to the social safety net, has no problem with getting free stuff. Two years ago Bill and his fellow devout, benevolent Catholic, Laura Ingraham whined about liberal attacks on conservative free speech, George Soros, yada, yada. But in spite of these egregious assaults on good conservatives, Bill, ever the optimist, looked on the bright side. He proclaimed that "PC" was "on the run" because wherever he goes, his adoring fans give him free pizza and hamburger. Bill got free stuff so I guess that means he voted for Obama?!

In case you missed it, Greg Gutfeld is on book tour with a typical right-wing pundit screed about liberals - but peppered with his own special brand of what he and Fox Newsies think of as humor. Personally, I have always found Gutfeld to be an unfunny jerk and I have caught enough snatches of Red Eye and The Five to arrive at an educated opinion. And it's not about his politics. I often chuckle at the humor of Bill O'Reilly, Adam Carolla (someone I find outright despicable, as opposed to asinine) and Bernard McGuirk. So there was no way I was going to cough up an extra dime or even 10 minutes of my precious time on Gutfeld. But thanks to Alexander Zaitchik and his excellent review, he read it so the rest of us don't have to.Read more
The whine, that Muslims getting a free pass while Christians are persecuted, is standard fare for the Christian right. And it's not only Fox Nation denizens that articulate this combination of victim and anti-Islamic victimhood. Fox's Mike Huckabee articulated the same sentiment during Bill O'Reilly's rant about how pastors need to grow some cojones and do some serious ass kicking of those nasty secularists who are trying to destroy Bill O'Reilly "Judeo-Christianity," Mike Huckabee provided warm affirmation with the requisite Fox claim that "Christians are treated differently than most other faith groups." And in the spirit of the season, he attacked those who defend separation of church & state - a concept that is not accepted by the Christian right and Mike Huckabee who would like to amend the Constitution to "meet God's standards." Huckabee then continued his homily with the requisite, persecuted reference to Islam that was a teensy bit untrue.Read more
Perhaps because the "War on Christmas" needs new battles, or perhaps because there is no wrong way to attack the President, Fox Nation has posted an article condemning the First Family for displaying 54 Christmas trees in the White House. The "outrage" stems from Obama allegedly being extravagant with taxpayer money, "as Americans face a fiscal cliff," on "50% more Christmas trees than last year."Read more
Suzanne Venker, the niece of anti-feminist Phyllis Schlafly, is back on FoxNews.com for some more of her unqualified and unscientific pronouncements about the so-called "war on men." Although Fox is determined to have its viewers believe there is no such thing as the war on women, it seems equally determined to persuade them that there is a war on men. But we could end the war or have a truce if only women would just submit to men, let them drive and "become comfortable with sacrifice and capitulation."Read more
Fox Nation Headline, "Obama Re-election Layoffs Continue," Under Banner Citing More Jobs and Less Unemployment!
Fox Nation has decided that any lay-offs that happened after the re-election of President Obama are all Obama's fault. Their headlines falsely accuse the president's reelection of triggering "massive layoffs" when the reality is quite different. Today's Fox Nation article, "Obama Reelection Layoffs Continue" is laughable considering the gap between reality and Fox Nation.Read more
