Steve Doocy Lies: Hobby Lobby Decision Only Covers Contraceptives That "End Lives"
In ruling on behalf of Hobby Lobby, the conservative Catholic men on the Supreme Court decided that, under the rubric of religious freedom, Hobby Lobby had the right to deny coverage for those methods of birth control that they believe cause abortions. Hobby Lobby's belief is not based in science; but is, rather, the theological belief of certain evangelicals and the Catholic Church - a position consistently supported by Fox News. Within 24 hours, the same guys expanded the decision to include all birth control in order to cover business owners who hold to Catholic doctrine that all birth control is a sin. This morning, during a let's bash Obama segment, Fox friend Steve Doocy not only advanced the lie that these contraceptives cause abortions - but he showed his ignorance of the total scope of the decision - or was deliberately lying!

I think we can add “dishonest,” along with “misogynistic” and “race baiting” to the list of words we could use to describe Fox News ambush producer Jesse Watters. On The O’Reilly Factor tonight, he insisted he meant no disrespect when he called single ladies “Beyoncé voters” and then described them as, basically, welfare queens. No disrespect because, according to Watters, that’s what they are. But first, he went to the Gay Pride Parade in San Francisco and asked a lot of obnoxious questions.

It looks like Sarah Palin wouldn't mind being part of that "lamestream media" she's always knocking. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Palin let it be known that even though she's "really excited" about the upcoming second season of her current show on The Sportsman Channel, she might be just what The View needs. And guess which "fair and balanced" news network that currently employs her she didn't mention?

In addition to fearing and loathing lady parts, right wing men don't seem to know how they work. When he was slut shaming Sandra Fluke, Rush Limbaugh claimed that she needed a lot of birth control because she was having so much sex. Rush obviously doesn't know that the birth control pill is not connected to the amount of sex, but rather, a daily regimen. Not surprisingly, Bill O'Reilly doesn't seem to have a grasp of the topic either as he thinks that you can get any and all contraceptives you need at - wait for it - Target. Once again, Bill O'Reilly is wrong.
Read moreWhy Do You Think Fox Nation Closed Comments For ‘N-Word In The White House’ Article Post?
Fox Nation just couldn't resist covering the article about a Greenwich Village community newspaper with the provocative title, "The N***** In The White House." The article is actually pro-Obama. As Fox Nation explains, the article "criticizes what it calls the anti-black 'racism' of far-right voters." But Fox Nation, while feigning shock, also threw out a bit of race bait with its own headline: "Obama Called The N-Word In Newspaper Headline." Which is pretty ironic, considering how Fox Nation readers love the n-word.

Liz Cheney was back on Fox News Sunday yesterday, blaming President Obama for all the ills in Iraq and giving Daddy “no doubt Iraq has WMDs” Dick Cheney a complete pass. Afterward, the discussion turned to the Hobby Lobby and Wheaton Supreme Court rulings. Cheney showed just the kind of sympathy and compassion toward women denied contraception coverage that you'd expect.

If there were theme music for Fox & Friends, it would be "let's do the time warp again" as it's clear that this happy chat show truly wants to bring us back in time to when women's happiness was secondary to that of their husbands. But women have come a long way, baby, and that doesn't set well with the American right who see feminism as the reason why women are so uppity. So as the echo chamber for these backward time travelers, Fox & Friends hosts feminist bashers like Suzanne Venker who thinks that because of the influence of those man hating feminist bitches, women are not being properly submissive to their husbands. In a effort to teach you gals how to behave properly, Fox & Friends has also glommed onto the "Princeton Mom" who thinks women should go to college to find a husband and then settle down into a life of domesticity. This morning, she was on the curvy couch for more feminist bashing and good advice on how to please your man!

Read moreOn Fox & Friends: Suzanne Venker Defends Men's Rights Misogyny While Clayton Morris Defends His!
Despite the best efforts of those who seek to maintain the male power structure, women have been, as the song goes, "doing it for themselves." But this progress created a serious backlash from those who seek to maintain the male patriarchal power structure, the demise of which was lamented by Bill O'Reilly. The backlash, documented by Susan Faludi in 1991, continues today with constant attempts to role back reproductive freedom and resistance to equal pay. And, in the alternate reality of the right wing, there is no war on women. Rather, it's nasty feminist bitches who are making life miserable for American men - a position promoted by Fox News hosts who validate those who say that it's the women who are intolerant. So who better to articulate this position than anti-feminist Suzanne Venker who, on Fox & Friends, once again attacked feminists and in so doing, defended those who think rape is just a feminist fabrication. Nice
