Hannity Promises To Help Senator Mike Lee Get Re-Elected
Sean Hannity had an interview with his government shutdown BFF Senator Mike Lee last night. There was no talk of how Lee’s popularity has plummeted in Utah since the shutdown stunt nor how Lee has alienated many in his own party since taking office. But near the end, Hannity acknowledged that “some establishment types in Utah might be trying to change the rules to hurt you.” If that continues, Hannity promised, “I’ll do everything I can do – We’ll go out to Utah, we’ll have a big Tea Party out there. We’ll remind them why you were elected.”

Megyn Kelly recently told the Associated Press that her new show will be different from those of Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity because "you're not going to hear what I think." Now that her show is up and running, it appears that while her claim of objectivity might be technically correct, in that she doesn't prefix her comments with the words pertaining to what or how she thinks, her biases are very clear. In validating the claims of an anti-immigrant filmmaker, she said that the comments of a xenophobic veteran were "understandable." In validating the hypocrisy of Allen West, she asked where the "accountability" was for remarks made by Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson. Her show was barely a week old when she took on the issue of public prayer. As she frequently did on her old show, she was able to convey her opinion without stating it. As a primer for Megyn Kelly (and Fox/right wing) propaganda, it was quite instructive.
Read moreMikey Weinstein V. Megyn Kelly On The Use Of 'God' In The Air Force Oath
Mikey Weinstein, of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, squared off against Megyn Kelly tonight over his complaint to have “so help me, God” removed from the Air Force Academy’s honor oath. Rather than just let the Air Force decide the matter, The Kelly File deliberately decided to rile up its viewers by suggesting their (Christian) religious liberty is at risk. The result was a lot of snotty sarcasm from host Kelly who, at one point, sneered, “Mikey, chill. Chill. Come on. It’s OK. I’m just asking the questions.”
Read moreJon Stewart Hammers Republicans Over The Tea Party They Created
Jon Stewart was merciless toward those supposedly sensible Republicans who are now complaining about the Tea Party. In excruciating (for Republicans) detail, he explained just how some of our “favorite” Fox News pundits and regulars built the very Frankenstein Tea Party they are now whining has turned into a monster.
Read moreCavuto Overlooks GOP Role In Obamacare Rollout Glitches
Media Matters recently explained how Republican governors’ decisions not to set up state exchanges for Obamacare put more of a burden on the federal government. At the same time, Media Matters pointed out, Fox has consistently deflected the blame that extra burden has played in the problems of the Affordable Care rollout away from the GOP. In his softball interview with Congressman Steve Scalise (R-FL) two days ago, Neil Cavuto joined his guest in pinning all the blame on the Obama administration and overlooking any role the Republicans may have played.
Read moreFox Attacks Aid To Pakistan
Perhaps because the culture war isn’t going so well these days, Fox is now reporting that “America’s costly foreign aid tab” is “in the crosshairs” according to a report on FoxNews.com called, "Growing the Debt: US resumes $1.6B in aid to Pakistan." While we are not told whose “crosshairs,” as might be warranted in a truly fair and balanced report, we can probably guess. Spoiler: it’s the Republicans.
Read moreTodd Starnes' Persecuted Christian Soldier Story Full Of Pious Baloney
The patented Fox News meme, that American Christians are victims of persecution not seen since the days of Christians v Lions, is a specialty of Fox's resident Jesus loving, homo hating Todd Starnes. As the Fox mouthpiece for the rancid whines of the conservative Christian right, Starnes has been pushing their tired trope that the evil Obama administration is persecuting Christian soldiers when, in reality, it's those very Christians who are trying to push their views on the tax payer funded military. In September, Toddles wrote about an Air Force sergeant, Phillip Monk, who claimed that he was being punished because he didn't agree with his lesbian superior's views on the legitimacy of same sex marriage. The Air Force, however, presented a very different view of the situation - a view that has been supported by official findings. What will the Todd say?!
Read moreFox Attacks Alan Grayson For Comparing The Tea Party To The Ku Klux Klan
In case you missed it, Congressman Alan Grayson recently said in an interview with Rev. Al Sharpton, “At this point, the tea party is no more popular than the Klan.” Grayson followed that up with a fundraising email yesterday repeating his quote and including the above graphic of a burning cross. In response, Fox News pundits are in an uproar of scripted outrage – in solidarity with the Republicans. But Megyn Kelly’s choice of hate monger Allen West as her attack dog against Grayson undercut and discredited any legitimacy to the effort. In fact, as West used the occasion to make racial attacks on African American leaders, he more proved Grayson’s point than refuted it.

"Independent" media critic, Howard Kurtz' gloss over of the Hannity show's fake Obamacare victims was so ridiculous it was almost funny. If it weren't so serious.
Read moreBill O'Reilly, Jesse Watters Attack 'Anti-Christmas' Maine Town Council
It's only October, but for Bill O'Reilly it's never too early to start celebrating his Christmas tradition known as "the war on Christmas." And nothing says Christmas cheer more than Bill's annual attack on those who, in Bill's twisted mind, disrespect the holiday. Assisting Bill in spreading Christmas peace and love is Bill's stalker/producer and general shit stirrer Jesse Watters whose visit to the Christmas hating residents of Great Barrington MA, according to Watters, caused them to realize the error of their ways and as such was a clear victory in the Christmas war - at least for a while because last year O'Reilly was still attacking them! This year, Watters was sent to Maine where he confronted local officials about their decision to remove lights from a permanent Christmas tree veterans memorial. Watters' (not a veteran) scorching expose revealed how these "Christmas haters" insulted veterans and Christmas. So in the spirit of the season, perhaps the evil town council members will be getting some nice Christian, Christmas death threats as a result of O'Reilly's Christmas attack. God bless us everyone?!
