Juan Williams Points Out That Republicans Were Pushing For Leak Probes Before They Were Complaining about Leak Probes
Juan Williams got under Brit Hume’s skin on Fox News Sunday today when he suggested there’s a tad of disingenuousness about Republican hissy fits over Attorney Genera Eric Holder’s investigation into national security leaks that included investigating Fox News reporter James Rosen. Not that Williams didn’t jump on the same pro-Rosen bandwagon most others in the media have jumped on (and ignored what Rosen did to flag investigators’ attention) but still, he’s one of the few on Fox to point out that Holder didn't just concoct some war against the press – but was engaging in the very behavior Republicans were accusing him of not doing before they were against him for doing it.

Like many of you, I'm sure, I'm kicking back a little this weekend. I will be posting but probably a little more sporadically. So what's on your mind today? Anybody watching Fox? If so, what have you spotted?
Read moreMegyn Kelly Helps George Zimmerman Demonize Trayvon Martin
With the George Zimmerman trial drawing near, his attorney is flaunting information about Trayvon Martin as a pothead, a possible thief and a gun lover. It’s questionable whether that information will ever make it into evidence at trial and the assistant state attorney has filed a motion for a gag order to prevent attorneys from discussing the case with reporters. But you’d never know any of that from watching Megyn Kelly’s interview with Zimmerman attorney Mark O’Mara on Thursday (5/23/13). To the contrary, she seemed determined to work in as much dirt on Martin as she could before she was ordered not to.
Read moreBill O'Reilly Still Pushing Anti-Abortion Rhetoric - Abortion = Baby Killing
Any good propagandist knows that "words matter." And as propaganda is the raison d'être for Fox News, Fox talkers know the value of using an incendiary, emotionally charged term when a more reasonable term could and should be used. The use of incendiary, emotionally charged rhetoric is nowhere more important than in the 'pro-life' community who, in order to shame and vilify abortion providers and women who have abortions, use terms like "baby killing" to describe the legal termination of a fetus as "killing" and abortion doctors as "killers." This vocabulary contributes to a climate of hate in which abortion doctors are murdered, as happened to Dr. George Tiller who was frequently denounced by Bill O'Reilly as a "baby killer." Tiller is gone; but O'Reilly still maintains, as fact, that abortion is "killing babies" - a point made during his interview with the attorney for Dr. Gosnell. Gosnell was found guilty of murdering babies after birth. Abortion doctors, unless adjudicated otherwise, are performing a safe, legal procedure. Big difference; but not for O'Reilly whose toxic words shouldn't matter, but sadly do.
Read moreFlashback: Andrea Tantaros Complained About Obama's 'Violent Rhetoric' Before Advocating Punching Obama Supporters 'In The Face'
It turns out that Andrea Tantaros is a hypocrite on top of being a violence-promoting hate monger. Our friend David in Elyria reminded me that about two years ago, she was on her high horse blaming President Obama's "violent rhetoric" for flash mobs. And yet, this is the same woman who has yet to apologize for telling her radio show listeners, “If you see any of those people (Obama supporters) today, do me a favor, punch ‘em in the face.”
Read moreGreg Gutfeld, Bernard McGuirk Impugn MSNBC Hosts' Manliness! Really?
If you're looking for a testosterone infused sausage fest of extreme machismo, look no further than Bill O'Reilly's rap sessions with "comedian" and co-host of "The Five" Greg Gutfeld and Bernard McGuirk, Imus sidekick, who once referred to female African-American college basketball players as "hard core hos." When these three Catholic, former altar boys get together it's open season on women, gays, and anybody else that isn't part of their white, patriarchal, Christian boyz club. Included in this list of those who aren't part of O'Reilly's manly locker room posse are the male hosts on MSNBC who, according to Gutfeld and McGuirk, don't score high on the macho scale. That's right folks, the 5 foot 5 Gutfeld and the skinny, skin headed McGuirk actually impugned the manliness of MSNBC hosts during a discussion about a recent study that correlates the size of men's biceps with their conservatism. We know that McGuirk and Gutfeld are conservative but it's about the biceps thing....

If anyone on the planet still thinks America Live is an “objective” news program, as Fox News insists it is, then I strongly recommend watching the clip after the jump in which substitute host Greg Jarrett and reporter Chris Stirewalt sneer and jeer at Attorney General Eric Holder and compare Obama unfavorably to disgraced President Richard Milhous Nixon.

That the supposed "fair & balanced" Fox News official news services a "pro-life" agenda was underscored by their sensationalist, editorialized, and almost tabloid coverage of the Gosnell abortion case - coverage not seen on Fox during the trial of Scott Roeder, who was convicted of murdering abortion provider, Dr. George Tiller. The anti-choice movement is using the Gosnell case as ammunition in their attempts to roll back abortion rights - a crusade that is being aided and abetted by Fox News which refuses to address the reality that lack of access to safe, affordable abortion will lead to more Gosnell's. Wednesday, alleged "news" host Megyn Kelly spoke with Gosnell's attorney in a piece that could have been a discussion about the need for legal, safe abortion; but, instead, consisted of Kelly screaming at the attorney in a not very "fair & balanced" scolding which earned her praise from the radical movement that threatens women's reproductive rights. But in peddling pro-life propaganda, who cares about being fair & balanced? Certainly not Fox News!
Read moreMonica Crowley Conspiracy Theory Of The Day: Obama’s ‘Attack’ On The Bill Of Rights
On last night’s Lou Dobbs Tonight, host Dobbs dismissed President Obama’s lengthy, substantive speech on national security as an attempt to change the subject and said, “Now let’s go back to what is really important.” By that, he meant the trumped-up scandals that Republicans Fox is doing its utmost to exploit against the Obama administration. And who better to help with an effort to exploit a trumped-up scandal into a full-blown, anti-Obama conspiracy theory than Monica Crowley, the pundit who blamed her decision not to eat a hamburger on President Obama?
