Not since Bill O'Reilly lost it with Alan Colmes or jumped down the throat of Mary Katharine Ham have I seen such boorish behavior in the No Spin Zone.

James S. Brady, former Press Secretary to Ronald Reagan, died today. You may recall that Brady was shot in the head during the 1981 assassination attempt on President Reagan and, though never fully recovered, became an advocate for stronger gun laws. For that, some people in "America loving" Fox Nation thought he deserved to die.

The Hannity show brought back the discredited “terrorism expert” Steve Emerson to both frighten the bejesus out of viewers about home-grown terrorists and smear President Obama as their BFF in America. While he was at it, Emerson blamed Obama and Hillary Clinton for the war in Gaza, too.

As the media outlet for those who believe that scary minority men are inherently dangerous and should be closely monitored, Fox News was not happy with a federal judge's ruling that the NY Police Department's "stop & frisk" practice was unconstitutional because it was a form of racial profiling. After the decision, Fox went into high gear with an onslaught of misinformation and lies about how this practice reduced crime. Last Thursday, Fox & Friends hosted former NY Mayor Rudy Giuliani who continued to pimp this propaganda in claiming that NY City, under his administration, was far safer than it is under Mayor de Blasio. Meanwhile, he ignored the NYPD's record of police brutality towards minorities, including the recent chokehold, now ruled a homicide, which caused the death of a black man. Obviously, not an issue for the Giuliani worshiping curvy couch Caucasians who think that the NYPD is being "demonized."

Memo to news anchors everywhere: Moonlighting as a shoplifter is probably not a smart way to pad your income. That would seem to be the lesson for California’s Fox 40 Sabrina Rodriguez who was arrested for stealing more than $2,500 in merchandise from a Coach outlet store.

Bob Beckel tweeted a cryptic message asking forgiveness for “some things” he said on The Five and that “Fox boss not happy.” He tweeted that on a day when Beckel was conspicuously absent from the show. So why didn’t Beckel say what he regrets having said?

Fox News talking heads cast a wide net of outrageousness last week: marriage, the IRS, religion, tax inversion, immigration and even The Bachelorette were all fodder for outrageous quotes. Brian Kilmeade's "question" about whether U.S. foreign policy "emboldened" the "sinister forces" that resulted in the shooting down of Malaysian Airline MH17 over Ukraine was not just anti-American and outrageous. It made Kilmeade the winner of last week's Outrageous Quote of the Week contest. 

Fox Nation made like they were “just reporting” on the Russian Kremlin’s tweet challenging President Obama’s manliness. But judging from the Kremlin’s photo plastered glaringly on the page, the text and the racist comments from the readers, we can only conclude that the real purpose was to drum up even more hatred for President Obama. UPDATED

Fox News commentator Juan Williams didn't come out and say that the Republican threats on President Obama are race-based but he did strongly hint that they will certainly appear as such to people of color.
