Fox regular Gary B. Smith's likening of ObamaCare to communist Russia was not just outrageous but THE most outrageous quote of the week last week. That was the judgment of our the readers who voted in our Fox News Outrageous Quote of the Week poll. And we can't disagree with them.

Yesterday, Richard Martinez, the father of one of the shooting rampage victims killed near University of California, Santa Barbara, tearfully condemned the “craven, irresponsible politicians and the NRA” – which have blocked gun control laws – as responsible for his son’s death. Today, Fox News Sunday played a clip of the stricken father’s emotional comments – with the gun comments edited out. Reporter Dominic Di-Natale also set up an “angry father” meme at the same time.

Leave it to Fox News to find a way to malign the Obama administration’s indictment of five Chinese nationals for hacking into six American companies. On Special Report last week, panelist Charles Krauthammer got an unusual amount of time to accuse the administration of not doing enough – and likening the effort to the much maligned by Fox #BringBackOurGirls Twitter campaign.

Fox darling Dr. Ben Carson intimated that he sees the veterans suffering in the VA scandal as little more than political pawns today. Carson announced on Fox News that the VA problems are “a gift from God” to enlighten us about what’s wrong with public-run health care. Then he lectured all politicians to stop playing politics with our country’s problems.

While Bill O'Reilly advises his audience, via his "Tip of the Day," to "ignore guttersnipes," it's clear that he can't follow his own advice. When anybody gets under O'Reilly's pale, blotchy, and thin skin, he takes it quite personally and subsequently throws himself a pity party on national TV. Last night, the divinely inspired O'Reilly framed his daily pearl of wisdom around the offense he took from an unnamed African-American woman who complimented him. But according to Bill, the compliment betrayed a "destructive" ulterior motive and was proof of a personality disorder. Talk about grievance hustling.

Yesterday, The Five discussed Mark Cuban's comments about prejudice by continuing the Fox News tradition of whitewashing animosity toward minorities as "honesty" and "candor." I'm willing to bet Katie Pavlich suffers no ill consequences on the network for admitting she crosses the street when she sees "a black kid in a hoodie." Certainly none of the co-hosts seemed to mind.

AP has some new details about the arrest of Fox News' Gregg Jarrett. He may have taken a drug that didn't mix well with alcohol - or should not have been taking at all. It appears he should not have been drinking either because a police report indicates he had just been released from an alcohol and drug rehab facility.

The Kelly File reacted to a letter by 50 U.S. Senators urging the N.F.L. demand the Washington Redskins change its name. First, guest Ben Shapiro whitesplained to Native Americans this should be "about a hundred on the list of issues facing Native American communities today." Later, host Megyn Kelly “asked” Shapiro for his thoughts on Congress “trying to, sort of, curtail the speech rights, basically of a professional football team.”

Back in January, Fox wall of genius Eric Bolling posed this question: "Where is the… Is there racism? I don’t think there’s racism. I think the only people perpetuating racism are people like this gentleman from NAACP, are the Al Sharptons of the world. Let’s move on. Let’s move on." Looks like Bolling, whose record on racial sensitivity is not exactly stellar, has been proven wrong about that! But then maybe Bolling thinks that a burning cross is just another way of being neighborly!
