Bill O’Reilly and Howard Kurtz could not have looked more like two old fogies tonight as they each decided that the falling poll numbers for President Obama also signal the fall of Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show and Stephen Colbert’s Colbert Report.

Fox’s Oliver North channeled Dick Cheney as he used The Kelly File as a platform to fear monger about a nuclear attack. Only in this case, the threat is from Iran. And even though North offered no evidence to back up any of what he said, host Megyn Kelly made no challenge of any of his assertions. In fact, she helped.

Rep. Michele Bachmann didn’t get quite the Fox News welcome she’s undoubtedly used to when she visited the Your World show today. Host Neil Cavuto didn’t just disapprove of House Speaker John Boehner’s plan to sue President Obama, Cavuto got into a shouting match with her about it. Grab the popcorn!

If, as the saying goes, you're known by the company you keep, Sean Hannity's support for bigots says a lot about him. One of Hannity's new BFF's is Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson who, in addition to his claim that Louisiana African-Americans were happy during the brutal years of Jim Crow,told Vanity Fair that homosexuality is like bestiality. When A&E temporarily suspended Robertson for his ignorant and bigoted comments, Fox News immediately rallied round Robertson  who, according to Fox talkers, was just using his 1st Amendment right to express his "biblical" opinion. Recently, Robertson shared his Christian gospel and sociological perspective to an Alabama audience. One assumes that if a liberal disparaged Tea Party members or recommended underage sex, Hannity would be verclempt; but he obviously has no problem with Robertson's latest bit of hateful ignorance. 

According to Fox News' own reporting, the primary runoff last night between Senator Thad Cochran and Tea Party insurgent Chris McDaniel was dramatic. Yet Cochran's close win and McDaniel's refusal to concede is nowhere to be seen on Fox Nation. Do you think it might have to do with the fury being expressed by McDaniel that Cochran won at least in part by courting Democratic voters?

Fox's Greta Van Susteren didn’t need no stinkin’ proof – or even evidence – to convict IRS’ Lois Lerner and sneer about how lucky she is to have “gotten away with” the crime Van Susteren doesn’t even know for sure has been committed. You'd think that Van Susteren, an attorney, would want to wait for facts before she convicted someone. But not on Fox News.

Dick Cheney’s back again! Less than a week after Megyn Kelly called him out for being “so wrong about so much” in Iraq, he got a double segment with lapdog Sean Hannity where the two agreed that everything wrong in Iraq is President Obama’s fault – because the Bush administration invasion was so fab. And in case that isn’t 2003 all over again enough for you, Cheney and Hannity got all mushroom cloudy on us.

Three out of four phone hacking defendants were acquitted today, including Rupert Murdoch protegé Rebekah Brooks. Andy Coulson, a former aide to Prime Minister David Cameron, was the only defendant convicted.

Last night, Bill O'Reilly announced his plan for dealing with problems on the border: militarize it and put up a "wall and a barrier." But Fox's Brit Hume isn't exactly buying it. He didn't come right out and say so but he made it clear that the only real solution is a serious reform of our immigration laws.

Fox host Neil Cavuto teamed up with Texas Attorney General – and Republican gubernatorial candidate - Greg Abbott to join the GOP in blaming President Obama for the problem of thousands of undocumented children coming across the border.  Cavuto made like he was merely airing Abbott’s partisan view but his first question spoke volumes: “Maybe you can explain to me what’s going on here because they were just sort of dumped on us, and that seems more than an accident. What happened?”
