Suzanne Venker Is Back On Fox With More Instructions For Women To Submit To Men

Posted by Ellen · December 08, 2013 9:12 PM · 9 reactions

Remember Suzanne Venker? She’s the anti-feminist niece of anti-feminist Phyllis Schlafly whose latest column on FoxNews.com urges women to get married and depend on men for money. Venker’s column was enthusiastically praised by the two male hosts of Fox & Friends this morning. Not so much by the female host.

Rick Santorum Likens ObamaCare To Apartheid

Posted by Aria and Ellen · December 08, 2013 2:28 PM · 7 reactions

Rick Santorum has to be the winner of the Worst Politicization Of Nelson Mandela’s Death Award. In a discussion about Republican prospects in 2016, Santorum – a presidential hopeful – was so eager to move off the subject of Mandela’s death a few hours earlier and on to bashing ObamaCare, that he actually likened ObamaCare to apartheid and ObamaCare foes to Mandela. (H/T Raw Story)

Huckabee's Satiric '12 Days Of ObamaCare'

Posted by Ellen · December 08, 2013 9:00 AM · 12 reactions

The Huckabee show was a vision of unfairness and unbalance tonight as it parodied The 12 Days of Christmas carol with The 12 Days Of ObamaCare. Must be seen to be believed.

Posted by Brian · December 07, 2013 11:08 PM · 1 reaction

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) opened today’s Cashin’ In by promoting his plan to rescue Detroit. Host Eric Bolling introduced Paul by saying, “A beam of bright light is emerging from the right. This is an exclusive interview you’ll only see right here on Cashin’ In.” Even though the segment was called the “Hot Seat,” Bolling nodded in agreement most of the time. Some hot seat.

Herman Cain: Minimum Wage Workers Don't Really Want Raises

Posted by Brian · December 07, 2013 2:42 PM · 1 reaction

Fox News’ Neil Cavuto opened a discussion on Thursday by saying, “I sometimes wonder” whether fast food workers demanding $15 an hour wages are “union plants.” But instead of any actual reporting, he called on Herman Cain – whose record in the restaurant business is “marked by a long and largely successful battle against minimum-wage increases,” as Huffington Post put it. Cain assured Cavuto that the protesters must be plants because minimum-wage workers "appreciate those jobs."

Jon Stewart Pits Stuart Varney Against Pope Francis

Posted by Ellen · December 06, 2013 5:49 PM · 2 reactions

Fox Business Network’s Stuart Varney got his comedic come-uppance last night on The Daily Show. Host Jon Stewart compared Varney’s sneering attitude toward the "undeserving" working poor with Pope Francis' denunciation of unfettered capitalism. “You’re going up against the Pope on how to help the poor?” Stewart asked, with comic astonishment. Yes, Varney was – and guess who won?

Bill O’Reilly Suddenly Good With ‘Happy Holidays’

Posted by Ellen · December 06, 2013 2:10 PM · 7 reactions

Bill O’Reilly committed Christmas heresy last night during his “War on Christmas” discussion with Sarah Palin. Apparently, he was so overcome with good cheer, he forgot that Fox News’ chief reason for the season is to spread ill will toward those who say, “holiday” instead of “Christmas.” Shockingly, O’Reilly now said he doesn't "have a beef" with anyone who says "Happy holidays" Just as shockingly, Palin - who has a new book out about fighting the War on Christmas - agreed.

Sarah Palin And Bill O’Reilly Suddenly Decide They Don’t Like Personal Attacks

Posted by Ellen · December 06, 2013 8:30 AM · 10 reactions

Sarah Palin dropped her boycott of The O’Reilly Factor last night for not just one but two segments in which both she and Bill O’Reilly were (uncharacteristically) on their best behavior with each other. In fact, they each must have been so consumed by their new Era of Good Feelings, that the two past masters of hate mongering developed a sudden case of amnesia and repeatedly agreed with the other that they don’t like personal attacks.
