Mike Huckabee Likens The IRS To The Gestapo

Posted by Brian · June 21, 2014 9:00 AM · 1 reaction

Mike Huckabee, ever the good Christian and patriot, compared the IRS to the Gestapo and the latest development of lost emails in the “scandal” to Watergate. He also dropped a not-so-subtle hint that President Obama should resign or be prosecuted.

Rupert Murdoch Op-Ed: Immigration Reform Can’t Wait (Has He Told Fox News Yet?)

Posted by · June 20, 2014 5:30 PM · 1 reaction

News Corporation CEO Rupert Murdoch wrote an Op-Ed in the Wall Street Journal this week with a pro-immigration stance that is at odds with News Corp.'s own Fox News. Murdoch's piece is called, "Immigration Reform Can't Wait." But Fox News has been frothing at the mouth over the very thought.

Glenn Beck Suggests Harry Reid Is Brain Damaged For Advocating Washington Redskins Name Change

Posted by Ellen · June 20, 2014 3:20 PM · 4 reactions

On the same Kelly File show in which Glenn Beck preached the need for America to “come together,” he later repeatedly smeared those who want the Washington Redskins team to change its name. Beck didn’t just argue against the name change, he suggested those who feel differently are anti-American and – in a page from Karl Rove’s Hillary Clinton playbook – suggested Sen. Harry Reid is suffering from brain damage for advocating the change. Beck concluded this display of “unity” by suggesting the team rename itself the Washington Benghazis.

Outnumbered Uses School Conservative Website 'Censorship' Claim To Bash Public Schools, Play Conservative Victimization Card

Posted by Priscilla · June 20, 2014 2:18 PM · 10 reactions

As the echo chamber for the radical right who live in an alternate world of constant persecution by the forces of dark liberalism, Fox News never wastes an opportunity to jump on board the latest example of the vast, left wing conspiracy to silence conservatives. The latest bit of shite to hit the fan is a Connecticut high school student's claim that his school is deliberately blocking access to pro-gun, pro-Christian marriage, anti-abortion, and Catholic websites as well as access to websites for GOP luminaries such as Paul Ryan and Sarah Palin. The school says that this is a filtering problem with the computer system but Andrew Lampart thinks otherwise. So as is usual in cases involving persecuted right wing students, young Andrew has taken his little hissy fit to Fox News which is using the case to, once more, play the victim card and for extra points, bash biased public schools. Ironic, don't ya think!

Fox’s The Five treated the capture of Benghazi suspect, Ahmed Abu Khatallah, as little more than a chance to rev up another round of attacks on President Obama.

Heritage Questioner Saba Ahmed Vs. Brigitte Gabriel On Hannity

Posted by Ellen · June 19, 2014 11:55 PM · 27 reactions

In case you missed it, video of Muslim student Saba Ahmed’s polite question during a recent Heritage Foundation panel and Islamophobic Brigitte Gabriel’s ugly, hate-filled and bullying response has gone viral. Tonight, Sean Hannity tried to recreate the confrontation – with his thumb on the scale, of course.

Megyn Kelly Helps Promote Glenn Beck’s Phony ‘Uniter’ Persona

Posted by Ellen · June 19, 2014 5:45 PM · 4 reactions

Fox’s Megyn Kelly once again helped Glenn Beck with his image rehab from extremist hate monger to centrist uniter.  Just like Beck, Kelly “forgot” his history of race baiting, fear mongering and smearing. Instead, she looked thoughtfully receptive as Beck recast himself into something any sane person should know he is not. Even as the cracks in his new persona were already showing.

Outnumbered's Kennedy Says Redskins 'Not A Denigrating Term' - WTF?!?

Posted by Priscilla · June 19, 2014 12:46 PM · 13 reactions

As the media mouthpiece for the patriarchy, Fox News' disdain for feminists is out and proud. So at first glance, Fox's new show, Outnumbered, would seem to fly in the face of the zeitgeist in that it features four outspoken women who gang up on the lone male, otherwise known as #OneLuckyGuy, who is the designated co-host for the show. But upon closer examination, the show fits the patriarchal paradigm quite nicely with its short skirted women and topics which lend themselves to sexist stereotyping. And in keeping with Fox's mission, it is a conduit for right wing talking points. Yesterday, they discussed the controversy surrounding the Washington Redskins. While former football star, Terry Bradshaw, actually argued on behalf of those who feel the team's name is offensive, the gals, not unexpectedly, took a different approach which left poor Bradshaw at a loss for words.
