Fox News’ weekend special “Live Free or Die: Obamacare in New Hampshire” was a thinly-veiled gift to former Fox News contributor Scott Brown who just happens to be running for the U.S. Senate in New Hampshire this fall. The report was light on investigation and heavy with the kind of he said/she said debate that Fox is known for: with special emphasis given to the Republican side. In this case, the glowing spotlight shone on candidate and former colleague Brown.

Eric Bolling is a devout Catholic who describes himself "as Christian as they come."  He is so full of faith that he lights devotional candles, every day, at St. Patrick's Cathedral. He is so full of faith that he once booted a guest from a Fox business show because the guest "denigrated the name of Jesus Christ." And he is so full of faith that he has no problem publicly denigrating Islam - which he did, again, on a recent segment of "The Five." Funny, I suspect that if the evil, librul media were seen as painting all Catholics with the same broad brush used by Bolling, he would be outraged. 

Last night, Fox’s Jeanine Pirro hosted fervent Islamophobe Walid Shoebat for some deliberate exploitation of the threat of ISIS for partisan gain. But Pirro seemed to get a bit more than she bargained for when Shoebat announced that ISIS is already here.

Yesterday, as Fox’s Cashin’ in panel praised some states’ “common sense” requirement of work for food stamps (and ignored Juan Williams point about the tragedy of working people unable to support themselves without food stamps), regular panelist Jonathan Hoenig came out against all safety nets altogether.

Sean Hannity wants you to know that he shares secrets with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Apparently, Hannity’s week-long infomercial and slobbering interview with Netanyahu wasn’t enough. Wasn’t enough ego-boosting apparently. So Friday, Hannity tweeted a photo of himself whispering in Netanyahu’s ear with the self-promoting teaser, “I wish I could reveal what I said here, but I cannot.”

Congratulations to Andrea Tantaros. Her accusation that "you could argue" that Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is "pro rape" was so outrageous that it was the runaway winner of our Fox News Outrageous Quote of the Week poll last week.

Fox News isn't customarily on the side of teachers who, in Foxworld, indoctrinate innocent children into the dark world of sexual depravity and satanic socialism. But a Texas school principal, who was allegedly fired because she told student to speak English in the classroom, is getting sympathy from Bill O'Reilly and his white soul sistah Laura Ingraham. It isn't surprising, given Bill's very public sentiment about how those nasty brown people are ruining his traditionalist America with their foreign ways. According to Bill, this school official is a victim of un-American "political correctness." And in typical fashion, O'Reilly spun the facts to fit the narrative which, in this case, was about how diversity is ruining traditional America. It was all good....

The Baltimore Sun’s David Zurawik, their TV critic, took note of Sean Hannity’s week-long infomercial for Israel’s attacks on Gaza and gave it and him just the kind of scathing critique they deserved.

Earlier this week, I wrote that Sean Hannity was probably one of the few people not laughing at Stephen Colbert's hilarious "literally" send up of him in juxtaposition of the "apparently" boy. In an online interview, Hannity hit back with just the kind of grace and class you'd expect from him - which is to say, none.
