Neil Cavuto’s Hair-Splitting Benghazi Question: Is An Act Of Terror Really The Same As A Terrorist Act?
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) visited Fox’s Your World show yesterday to attack President Obama over the zombie Benghazi scandal. Yesterday’s excuse for keeping it undead? Whether or not President Obama’s description of the attack as an “act of terror” was, as host Neil Cavuto put it, “really the same as (calling it) a terrorist act?”

The religious right's church of perpetual persecution believes that Hollywood liberals, who are corrupting the culture of Christian America, are anti-Christian. As the media mouthpiece for persecuted Christians who hate Hollywood, Fox News loves to point out that Hollywood (and Jon Stewart) hates Christians. The newest thing to have godly Christian panties in a bunch is the "blacklisting" of a Christian film whose best Original Song nomination was nixed because the song's composer violated Oscar rules. But on Fox & Friends such complexities do not apply to Christians who, according to the gang on the curvy couch, are targets of liberal Hollywood's religious bigotry. It's time to pity party!

Bill O’Reilly played Part 2 of his interview with President Obama tonight. They discussed the Keystone Pipeline and other issues, including an attempt by O’Reilly to lecture Obama about black social issues. Obama deftly turned it aside. But the most interesting moments came when Obama confronted O’Reilly about Fox News’ bias against him.

Yesterday, President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton landed some Super Bowl smack downs of Fox News. So today, Fox tried to wipe the egg off its face by claiming that Clinton’s viral tweet about Fox was really a put down of Obama. #NotTheOnion
Read moreGeraldo Rivera Thinks Jon Stewart Has Turned On Democrats
If you watched Fox News at all Friday, you probably saw a clip of Jon Stewart laughing at Nancy Pelosi when she said she didn’t know why “it’s so hard to get a company to execute the (HealthCare.gov) exchange competently.” But Geraldo Rivera took it a step further when he argued that the clip signaled Stewart becoming a foe of Democrats.
Read moreBrian Kilmeade Endorses Public School Football Coach Led Student Prayer?
Fox News just can't get enough of that First Amendment free speech thing when it comes to homophobic Christian reality TV stars and bakers who refuse to provide wedding cakes for gay couples. Of course, when atheists put up billboards, the same constitutional protections don't seem to apply. But while the Fox talkers love constitutional speech protections, they either aren't aware of or willfully dismiss the "no law respecting the establishment of religion" part of the First Amendment. This ignorance was on full display, on this morning's Fox & Friends during which Brian Kilmeade praised public school students who are defending their football coach from charges, from an evil atheist group, that he might be in violation of the Constitution when he leads Christian prayers before the game. Brian "all terrorists are Muslims" Kilmeade might have written a history book but he obviously doesn't know jack about the Constitution

Hillary Clinton may not have declared her candidacy yet but she took a little "pre-game" swipe at what may be her biggest 2016 opponent: Fox News. During the Super Bowl, which was aired on Fox, she sent out a tweet that called out the "fair and balanced" network for its anti-Democratic stance. All in fun, of course.
Read moreFr. Jonathan Morris Pimps Right's Anti-Obama Talking Points On - Wait For It - Religious Freedom
In the real world, US churches are still open and clergy have not been marched off into gualgs. But, in the dualistic world of Fox News, the evil forces of secularism are constantly attacking the godly forces of America's Christians. In the bizarro world of Fox News, the First Amendment does not prohibit an establishment of Christianity; but, rather, guarantees Christians the right to impose their beliefs in the public square. The Christian right's opposition to the HHS birth control mandate, based on dubious claims of "religious freedom," fits nicely into the Fox persecuted Christian/religious freedom memes. As such, Fox never wastes an opportunity to validate this alleged Christian victimhood. And who better to give his seal of approval to the faux controversy and promote the talking points of US Conference of Catholic bishops than Fox's one true priest Fr. Jonathan Morris who, in lamenting the rise of government restrictions on religion, got to smear the President in the process. Mirabile Dictu?!

Not surprisingly, there was a good bit of State of the Union outrageousness on Fox News last week. But we also had some goodies about the war on women, an outrageous jab at Bill Clinton, an attempt to tie rising enrollments at University of Colorado to legalized marijuana and more. Get your voting fingers ready!
Read morePresident Obama Takes No Guff From O’Reilly In Superbowl Interview
President Obama sat down with Bill O’Reilly today for the traditional pre-Superbowl interview. Not surprisingly, O’Reilly’s questions were on Fox News’ favorite Obama-attack subjects: Benghazi, the IRS and ObamaCare. I thought Obama was well-prepared and he smoothly called out Fox News’ slanted reporting a few times.
