O’Reilly Tries To Get Paul Ryan To Help Him Attack African Americans
Bill O’Reilly has been very upset that African Americans have been offended by Rep. Paul Ryan’s recent comments about the “culture problem” in our “inner cities.” So how has O’Reilly reacted? By making racial attacks on African Americans. All in a day’s work of O’Reilly looking out for white people you.
Read moreRumsfeld: ‘A Trained Ape’ Would Be Better Than Obama In Afghanistan
Once again, Donald Rumsfeld’s own colossal foreign policy blunders were swept under the rug on Fox News. If he ever had any grace or diplomacy, that was buried, too. Instead, host Greta Van Susteren welcomed Rumsfeld’s vile attacks on President Obama – and solidarity with Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai’s hostility toward the U.S. without a peep of challenge or concern.
Read moreMegyn Kelly Allows Judge Andrew Napolitano To Advance Fox Lie: ACA Covers Abortion (And Euthanasia, Too!!)
How much do the GOP and the anti-choice movement vehemently hate the Affordable Care Act? They hate it so much that they are willing to push a bold faced lie in order to make their bogus case that the ACA covers abortion inducing drugs and devices. As the mouthpiece for the GOP and those who are waging a war on women's reproductive rights, Fox News has been more than willing to *aid and abet this lie. Now that the Supreme Court is hearing court cases that involve Christian companies who object to providing coverage for birth control (You know, those pills for women who can't control their libido!) the issue of birth control (Yes, this is the 21st century!) vis-à-vis the ACA is being discussed across the media spectrum. Last night, Fox's Judge Andrew Napolitano broke it down for Megyn Kelly's audience. Given that Ms. Kelly has advanced the lie that the ACA includes abortion drugs, it wasn't surprising that she allowed Napolitano to do the same.
Read moreFr. Jonathan Morris Upset That 'God' Not Mentioned In 'Noah' Movie
The cognitive dissonance on Fox is truly amazing. It hasn't been two weeks since Andrea Tantaros, in advancing the popular Fox Muslim bashing narrative, said that Islam was "the most intolerant religion in the world" because, in part, Muslims are upset about the movie Noah which, they claim, violates the Koranic taboo against depictions of a prophet. But yesterday, in advancing the popular Fox persecuted Christian narrative, Fr. Jonathan Morris whined that the word "God" is not mentioned in the entirety of the movie. Oh, no.......
Read moreO’Reilly And Goldberg Make The Missing Plane Coverage About Obama, The Liberal Media And Benghazi
Bill O’Reilly found many new ways to politicize the coverage of the missing Malaysian plane last night. Let us count the talking points he worked into a nearly 11-minute, self-serving segment with colleague Bernard Goldberg about the unworthy reporting of everyone else: Benghazi, IRS, “corrupt” liberal media and bias on behalf of Barack Obama. OK, the Obama part was mostly Goldberg but O’Reilly accepted it as fact – right after he complained about other news hosts’ baselessly speculating.
Read moreOn Fox & Friends: Jon Scott Hosts 'Christian Politico' Joker For Chuckles Over 'Constitutional Madness' Brackets
As the mouthpiece for the GOP right wing, Fox News is always au courant with whatever is hot, hot, hot in the whacky world of the GOP right. The newest, hottest right wing meme is the "bracket" diagram, set up by a Nebraska GOP senatorial candidate, which mimics the NCAA brackets; but rather than college teams, it lists a bunch of stuff which Ben Sasse thinks are violations of the Constitution by Pres. Obama. On Saturday, the Fox friends had a good laugh about these categories which they validated as Fox fact. Sunday, reliable right wing mouthpiece Jon Scott, guest hosting on Fox & Friends, hosted self proclaimed "Christian politico with a sense of humor" Caleb Bonham for a real yuck fest (pun intended) over these brackets which, according to Bonham, are generating a huge response from college students. Bonham is with right wing "Campus Reform" so we know right there that he's credible, right?

Once again, our candidates of outrageousness include comments about missing Malaysian jet Flight #370. But this week we also have Rupert Murdoch again, now angry about Guinness’ withdrawal from the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. We’ve also got Bill O’Reilly’s “advice” to Angelina Jolie on how to be a more effective activist. And more. I’m a bit late with our weekly poll but I think you’ll find the wait has been worth it. So dust off your thinking caps and cast your vote for the Fox News Outrageous Quote of the Week.
Read moreCavuto Hearts Huckabee For 2016, Too
Previously, we wrote about Fox News’ efforts to promote Republican Governor John Kasich as a 2016 presidential candidate. That included the efforts of host Neil Cavuto. But Cavuto also gave a bit of a political boost to fellow Fox host (and 2008 presidential candidate) Mike Huckabee last week.

Last week, Fox host Neil Cavuto blatantly promoted a presidential run by John Kasich (R-OH). Yesterday, Chris Wallace joined the campaign effort with an even more blatant promotion on Fox News Sunday. Coincidentally, Kasich is also a former Fox News host.
Read moreFox & Friends Amused By GOP Candidate's Anti-Obama "Constitutional Madness" Brackets That Include 'Death Panels'
Fox News never wastes an opportunity to smear President Obama with right wing lies and propaganda. Fox News never wastes an opportunity to pimp the candidacy of GOP candidates who also never waste an opportunity to smear the President. So, on Saturday, Fox & Friends scored a propaganda twofer in its presentation of Nebraska GOP Senate Candidate Ben Sasse's oh so clever smear of the President which takes the form of brackets, just like the NCAA basketball brackets, that rank "Obama's worst constitutional violations." Of course these so-called violations are all in the eye of the Republican beholder. But for Fox & Friends these tired right wing tropes (now making the rounds of all the usual right wing blogs) were not only taken at face value; but were also a source of amusement
