Fox’s MacCallum Fear Mongers About An Ebola Terrorist Attack
Fox News’ Martha MacCallum turned to a pre-9/11 national security exercise enacting a biological attack of small pox as a vehicle to scare viewers into thinking that an Ebola terrorist attack could be hitting the U.S. at any moment.
Read moreOn Fox, Mark Fuhrman Declares Ferguson Killing Of Michael Brown Justified
Fox News seized on a report that the Ferguson police officer who shot and killed Michael Brown feared for his life as an excuse to race bait and trot out the racially disgraced Mark Fuhrman to declare Brown guilty and the officer not guilty. No need for a trial here!

The radical right hates "political correctness." I can't say, for sure why; but, I suspect it has something to do with respecting minorities and the LGBT community who, in right wing world, deserve to be mocked and denigrated. But it must be a very big deal because disdain for political correctness is a frequent meme on Fox, most notably on Fox & Friends where a guest once lamented that white people can no longer use racial slurs and toss around the "n-word" in polite company. Not to be outdone, the lovely, leggy Outnumbered ladies took on the evils of political correctness on today's show. Their example of "political correctness run amuck?" Some pre-schools in Australia. And, btw, did ya know that Obama's slow response to Ebola was due to political correctness. Yeah, Fox is that desperate.

Fox & Friends teamed up with the New York Post to help smear Donald Trump’s legal foe, NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, as a cokehead, even though there is no evidence beyond some tweets from a comedian currently campaigning for Schneiderman’s rival.

Given that the Christian evangelical vote is squarely in the GOP corner, it makes sense that Fox "News" doesn't need to pander to them in the same way that it does to Catholics whose political allegiances are still a bit squishy. Hence, the boyish face of Fox priest Fr. Jonathan Morris, giving his imprimatur to right wing talking points, is frequently seen on Fox. But Fox does have former pastor Mike Huckabee who address issues of importance to the American Taliban Christian right. And recently, in pimping movies that feature "The Rapture," Fox News provided a shout-out to those bible believing Christians who actually believe that we are in the "end times" (Ebola, ISIS, Obama) and that, any day, they will be sucked up to the skies while the rest of us await our eternal damnation which could never be as bad as watching Fox News!

Read moreOn Fox, Infectious Disease Doctor Demolishes Ebola Travel Ban Argument
Three cheers for Dr. Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota. He not only ridiculed the Ebola travel plan being pushed by Republican Tim Murphy (and other FNC talking heads) but took a good jab at Congressional failures to mount a constructive response, too. Host Chris Wallace did his best to protect the GOP peep but it was to little avail.
Read moreFr. Jonathan Morris Whitewashes Conservative, Anti-Gay Backlash At Vatican Synod
Despite one, brief, shining moment, when it looked like the Catholic Church was going to break free from its traditional teachings, the Church of Rome acquiesced to its more conservative members and agreed that "disordered" gays are still not welcome. In another victory for the conservatives, any talk of divorced and remarried Catholics (Megyn Kelly?) being allowed to receive communion was also scrapped. While the final document, from the recent Synod on family issues says that gays should not be discriminated against, a majority of bishops nixed any talk of approving of gay relationships. Church doctrine on the sinfulness of gay relationships remains, despite the Marxist Pope's conciliatory, liberal tone. But for official Foxpriest, Fr. Jonathan Morris, who was part of Fox fave Cardinal Dolan's entourage to Rome, the synod was happy, happy, joy, joy.
