Hillary Clinton Hospitalized With Blood Clot From Her 'Fake' Concussion

Posted by Ellen · December 30, 2012 10:27 PM · 29 reactions

Remember how Fox Newsies sneered about Hillary Clinton's "fake" concussion - made up so she could get out of testifying about Benghazi? Well, she must have done a heckuva job faking it because now she has been hospitalized with a blood clot that doctors think was caused by the concussion.

Mike Huckabee Attacks Christmas Haters Who Fear Jesus But Says He Means No Harm!

Posted by Priscilla · December 30, 2012 12:53 PM · 7 reactions

After viewing Jesus BFF Mike Huckabee's not so inspirational Christmas message which, like his follow-up to his Newtown-was-caused-by-godless-Americans comment, was really an attack on godless Americans, there should be no question as to why more and more Americans are losing their religion! Rather than follow the supposedly Christian admonition to "turn the other cheek," minister Huckabee used his Fox News platform to further the Fox News war on Christmas by whining about and disparaging those whose alleged Christmas hatred is really, according to Huckabee, about their hatred of Jesus. But for Huckabee, fighting alleged and unspecified assaults on Jesus is just dandy because it allows him, and his Christmas crusaders, to wallow in a sense of Christian persecution and thus feel vindicated because they know that - ready for it - these evil doers hate Christmas because they really fear and loathe Jesus.

As Bolling Whines About GOP Being Labeled As 'Obstructionist,' GOP Guest Urges Going Over The Fiscal Cliff

Posted by Brian · December 30, 2012 9:03 AM · 2 reactions

On the December 28th Your World, guest host Eric Bolling complained that Republicans are always getting tarred as obstructionists while the Democrats  seem to get a free pass." To debate the "issue," he brought on Democratic strategist Mark Hannah and conservative Michelle Fields. Hannah urged a "balanced approach" while Fields sneered that we've already gone over the fiscal cliff so we just allow the deadline to expire. Predictably, the irony was lost on Bolling.

Fox’s Ralph Peters: White House Acting Like A Gangster Over Benghazi

Posted by Ellen · December 29, 2012 3:35 PM · 5 reactions

Fox News wingnut Ralph Peters visited The O’Reilly Factor last night to discuss an unsubstantiated report that the four State Department officials who resigned in the wake of an investigation into the Benghazi attacks still have jobs. As I noted in a post I did on Crooks and Liars about this, there may well be regulations about how the Department has to go about disciplining and removing employees but Fox, Peters and guest host Greg Gutfeld apparently did the same amount of research into that point as they did into confirming the report. In other words, none.

Bolling Endorses Arpaio's Armed Posses In Schools

Posted by Ellen · December 29, 2012 10:22 AM · 40 reactions

In case you need any more reasons to boycott Arizona, here’s another one. Sheriff Joe Arpaio – a poster child for why Latinos shun Republicans - is salivating at the thought of putting armed posses in Arizona’s public schools. Naturally, Fox host Eric Bolling likes the idea.

Rand Paul Likens Tax Hikes To Drowning

Posted by Ellen · December 28, 2012 8:56 PM · 6 reactions

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) was a guest on On The Record last night to discuss why his vote will not be easy to win on any fiscal cliff deal. But he kind of went overboard (if you’ll pardon the pun) when he likened allowing the expiration of Bush tax cuts to “a policy of drowning.”

Hannity Attacks Obama For ‘Wanting’ To Go Over Fiscal Cliff – Then Advocates For Same Thing

Posted by Ellen · December 28, 2012 4:52 PM · 6 reactions

I’ve long said that whatever Sean Hannity complains about others doing is a big tell that that’s what he’s about to do. Last night’s lengthy whine session about the “fiscal cliff” is a perfect example. He began the lengthy commentary with an attack on President Obama for “hoping” the U.S. will go over the fiscal cliff. Then, a few minutes later, Hannity urged two Republican Congressmen not to “cave” even though that means – yep, going over the cliff.

Donald Trump: Romney Would Have Won If The GOP Had Listened To Me!

Posted by Ellen · December 28, 2012 2:04 PM · 10 reactions

Birther Boy Donald Trump was back on On The Record last night with some new advice for Republicans on the so-called “fiscal cliff.” But he also wants you to know that if only the Republicans had listened to his advice in the first place, they would have won the election.

Mike Huckabee Says Gays Caused Newtown Shooting & Mental Health Problems Are Really Sins!

Posted by Priscilla · December 28, 2012 11:52 AM · 8 reactions

In the bizarro, alternate reality of the religious right, any American tragedy is caused by a wrathful god who is angry about American tolerance (such as it is) of gays. 9/11? Jerry Falwell blamed it on the gays! Katrina? John Hagee blamed it on the gays! And now that yet another mentally disturbed young American psychopath has used personal weapons of mass destruction to efficiently kill school children and their teachers, the religious right is blaming it on - no, not on American gun culture and the easy availability of weapons for those with mental health issues -  but godless Americans and - wait for it - gays. As we know, Mike Huckabee is reluctant to discuss the role of guns and mental health in this tragedy, but he has been doing a lot of whining about godless Americans whom he also blamed for the Aurora shooting. And he has also "joined the looney gays caused Newtown" bandwagon. Are we suprised?

Fox's Arthel Neville Whitewashes Herman Cain Scandal

Posted by Ellen · December 27, 2012 5:39 PM · 9 reactions

Arthel Neville put together a roundup of the "most scandalous stories" of 2012. For some reason, she included Herman Cain. Not that Cain didn't deserve to be included but she sanitized the Cain scandal to the point that you might not have recognized it.
