Jon Stewart Skewers Fox News’ ‘Medical A-Team’ Bias
Jon Stewart pointed out – with great comedic effect – how “medical advice isn’t really the focus of Fox’s medical experts. They serve a much more important purpose.” You can probably guess what that “more important purpose” might be. Hint: think partisan talking points.

Although you can hardly turn on Fox News these days without hearing about the hosts’ oh-so-deep concern over “accountability” and honesty in the Affordable Care Act, that same concern vanishes now that the discredited slimebucket, James O’Keefe, has resurfaced with another selectively edited, gotcha video. This one’s about ObamaCare navigators. It’s proof, in case you needed any, that Fox News only cares about “accountability” from Democrats or liberals.

In addition to Bill O'Reilly, Greg Gutfeld also takes on the role of Fox News male arbiter of all that is good and holy and in so doing, gives us a moral compass with which we can live our lives. Like O'Reilly, Gutfeld is concerned about moral degeneracy in contemporary America. His discourses on morality include slut shaming women who have abortions and who engage in "irresponsible sex." He has also preached on how the culture of the African-American community as corrosive. He (no, I'm not kidding) has promoted abstinence. Last week, he lectured on "moral decay" which, in Greg's twisted mind, is connected to sex. Yep, this is the same guy whose Fox "Red Eye" program is full of sophomoric sexual innuendo and whose career included stints at "lad" magazines Maxim and Stuff. Yet, today's sexually liberated college students, in Gutfeld's twisted mind, are contributing to a culture of "moral decay." Excuse me?

Neil Cavuto opened Monday’s Your World by speaking to “market watcher” Larry Glazer about raising user fees as part of the federal budget negotiations. At the end of the interview, Cavuto said, “I just wish I saw the same creativity when it came to cutting spending that’s all. But Larry, thank you very much.” As Glazer laughed, Cavuto continued, “I mean they wouldn’t have to call it cutting spending. They could say, you know, curtailing a cancer on America’s soul. That might work.”

After their defeat in the 2012 election, the GOP, in its "autopsy," determined that they needed to tone down the rhetoric about the makers and the takers because it alienated a large group of voters, many of whom are minorities. But that message doesn't seem to have resonated with the hosts of Fox & Friends who continue to slam those, who need food stamps to feed themselves and their families, as greedy parasites who vote for Democrats because of the "free" stuff. That the well compensated "friends" appeal to angry white folks who believe that their money is being stolen, in order to reward lazy slugs (read black and brown), was underscored on this morning's Fox & Friends during which the vice-presidential candidate for angry white folks, Sarah Palin, joined in the poor people bashing. In addition to the war on Christmas, Fox continues to show that it's on the front line of class warfare
