Donald Trump Blames Obama For Getting Sued For Fraud – And Fox News Helps!
Donald Trump visited Fox & Friends this morning where he “defended” the $40 million lawsuit alleging his Trump University is a fraud by accusing the New York State attorney general of colluding with President Obama and using the lawsuit as a political vendetta. Trump's latest conspiracy theory is just about as credible as his birther conspiracy theory or his phony presidential campaign(s). But the Fox & Friends hosts did their part to lend an imprimatur of respectability to the outlandish claim.

According to the FBI, violent crime has been decreasing for five years. But if you watch Fox News, you might think that America is awash in violent crime being perpetrated by young black thugs. Rather than critically analyzing the socio-economic factors, mental health (issues related to white mass murderers), and the easy availability of guns, Fox News has focused on the racial component of the recent crimes that do not appear to be racially motivated. And in yet another case of diverting and distracting from the real issues, Fox is now pushing the meme that kids go on murderous rampages because there's just not enough God in society. Last year, official Fox clergyman, Fr. Jonathan Morris opined that shootings, like those in Newtown, occur because the shooters just don't have enough God in their lives. Yesterday, he preached the same gospel when he asserted that if only kids had more God in their lives, things would by so much better.

It looks like birtherism and phony presidential runs are not the only baloney being sold by Donald Trump. According to New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman Trump University is a fraud, too, and he's suing for at least $40 million in restitution.

Fox News Sunday looked ahead to the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and Dr. Martin Luther King's iconic "I Have a Dream" speech with Fox's typical approach to African Americans these days - by race baiting. In this case, Wallace made his animosity clear when he suggested that African Americans have received enough "special treatment" and that it was time to stop "putting a thumb on the scale" on their behalf.

Fox News has found itself another African American to fixate on as a racist and – for extra old, white viewer points – attach to the Obama administration. In this case, it’s a Department of Homeland Security manager who runs a website advocating a race war against whites. Terrible, yes. But Fox News’ outrage is a bit suspect given, in just one case, how it barely noticed Jack Hunter, a white, Republican racist working for Rand Paul, who contributes to Tucker Carlson’s Daily Caller and has appeared numerous times on Fox Business.

Attention Fox News interns: Here are the emails we received last week from some of your clueless viewers who can't tell us apart. As always, the names and other identifying information have been redacted to protect the ignorant. Grammar, spelling and punctuation have been left intact.
Read moreFox News' Latest Disingenuous Attack On The Poor: Welfare Pays More Than Minimum Wage
A recent FoxNews.com article called, "Study: Welfare pays more than minimum wage in most states" is little more than another not-quite-honest attempt to rile its readers and demonize the poor with suggestions that they are living high on the hog by freeloading off hard-working taxpayers.

The 50th anniversary of the famous MLK speech, that was given to the multitudes who marched for economic and civil rights in 1963, will be honored, today, in Washington DC. Those who are concerned about the same issues are gathering at the Lincoln Memorial to honor Dr. King and listen to speeches from Civil Rights leaders and others who share the dream. The "lamestream" media is providing considerable coverage. MSNBC ("Fifty years later, thousands rally in Washington for MLK’s dream") and CNN ("MLK taught one class his entire life") have secondary lede stories about the march. USA Today has a live feed. On of ABC's rotating ledes is a photo of MLK at the '63 march with the headline "50 years later march on Washington honors King." Meanwhile, Fox News has, buried in with the third tier "Latest News" which also features Todd Starnes, "Wis. schools teach children about masturbation," this very short headline: March on Washington to focus on Civil Rights" which links to the story of one of today's marchers.

Is there anything more unintentionally hilarious than Sarah Palin lecturing TV viewers about the value of hard work? Palin - the former VP candidate who became famous for her intellectual laziness, who subsequently walked out of her job as governor of Alaska, quit the bus tour that was teased as a precursor to a 2012 presidential candidacy, quit her job at Fox News because it was supposedly important to broaden her horizons and then quit her own quitting to return to Fox, as a contributor, not a full-time employee - THAT Sarah Palin was the person Fox News host (and Palin BFF) Greta Van Susteren turned to for for her special brand of insight into remarks by Ashton Kutcher about how opportunities comes from working hard and a good work ethic.
