As part of the festivities for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the cast of the awesome musical, Kinky Boots, entertained onlookers and the TV audience with two numbers (Raise You Up and Just Be). Subsequently, Christian parents (who don't have a problem with Victoria's Secret models all over Fox News), fearful that their innocent sons will be lured into the decadent world of transvestism, flooded social media with howls of godly indignation. Not surprisingly, Fox News' Jesus loving, homo hating culture clubber, Todd Starnes, expressed his opinion in a Fox News article and, not surprisingly, he validated the concerns of the outraged parents. But what was, uh, interesting was Todd's image of the drag queen costumes which Toddles thought of in terms of women's underwear. Forget kinky, we're talking seriously bizarre!
Two sentences stand out: "But is it really appropriate to force parents to explain to their youngsters why grown men wearing lace undies?" And then there's this: "So let me get this straight – wearing lady’s unmentionables makes you more tolerant?" But then it got confusing. After Todd whined about how those who preach tolerance are really the bigots, he veered off in another direction, but still with the undergarments: "There may very well be a time and a place for grown men to dance around in boxer shorts and stiletto heels – but I believe most rationale folks will agree that the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade is not that time."
Maybe Todd is unfamiliar with ladies lingerie. But if he got himself a Victoria's Secret catalog he might discover that women's undergarments, which can be decorative, are mainly functional. Word to Toddles: We don't wear glitzy, corseted, garter belted costumes unless it's a special occasion, if ya get my drift. Trust me, Toddles, I have never and will never own a Union Jack themed boustier - not that there's anything wrong with that! And regarding the boxer shorts - the straight male lead wore boxer shorts, "kinky" boots, and a suit jacket and tie - certainly tame by any gay pride parade standards! And Toddles knows about that ;)
Todd is still single so maybe some lucky lady will be able to give him a lesson on ladies lingerie. On second thought, ewwwwww......

Here's the "controversial" performance. Enjoy!
It’s okay, Todd. Not everyone was cut out to be a drag queen but if you want to pull out your drag for Halloween, that’s perfectly alright. No one’s going to judge you on it. Halloween is, after all, our day (or night, more accurately). If Martin Mull could pull off a not-bad Halloween drag on “Roseanne” (not even shaving his beard), then you too can do it.
