Now that the so called "Ground Zero Mosque" is no longer an issue, Roger Ailes, who has a "personal paranoia" about Muslims, hasn't had much material with which to play the fear of Muslims card. But yesterday, a terrorist watch group run by the Islamophobic and seemingly paranoid Steven Emerson reported its "concerns" about Saudi Arabia's inclusion in the Department of Homeland Security's "Global Entry" program which streamlines airport screening for foreign nationals whose security status has been vetted by their home country and the US. Not surprisingly Fox News is on it. This morning, reinforcing yesterday's Fox News.com's article, Fox & Friends discussed this scary new development with, no, not anybody from DHS or a reputable security firm - but a virulently anti-Obama Tea Party activist whose support for the "Ground Zero Cross" was validated, in 2012, by Megyn Kelly who, like Doocy, didn't mention her guest's right wing creds. Good thing Fox & Friends isn't a real "news" show!
Once the news of this concern was broken by Emerson's "Investigative Project on Terrorism," a group heavily funded by right wing interests, it was picked up by "Family Security Matters." This is part of the Center for Security Policy, an group run by the Islamophobic Frank Gaffney. The report "Fear Incorporated" describes this group, which opposed the "Ground Zero Mosque," as part of a network (includes Fox) of "misinformation experts" which help to cultivate Islamophobia. So it wasn't a surprise that Fox "News" would immediately jump on board this propaganda wagon, given that they are fans of Emerson whose Islamphobic movie received promotion and validation from Fox "news" host Megyn Kelly in January.
But you didn't get any of that background from Steve Doocy who began by saying that Saudi Arabia "gave us 15 of the 19" 9-11 hijackers and now they will be able to "zoom through customs." He asked if "they deserve the privilege we don't give our closest allies" After he introduced his guest, Joe Connor, as a cousin of a 9-11 victim, he read off the names of countries that are part of this program. He claimed that Germany isn't included which isn't true as there is a limited pilot program there. When he asked why it's being extended to Saudia Arabia, Connor said "not the UK" which isn't true as they are part of the pilot program. The chyron read "In Saud We Trust, Saudis Get Travel Boost Despite Terror." Connors brayed about a "pre-9-11 mentality" in which we are "jeopardizing the safety of our people for some political gain." He and Steve claimed that it's about the oil.
Doocy then gave Connors a platform for his grievance with Eric Holder who was instrumental in pardoning Puerto Rican FALN terrorists who perpetrated a bombing in which Connors father was killed. Connors compared the pardon, "putting politics ahead of safety," with the decision to allow Saudi Arabia into the entry program. The chyron reinforced the misinformation: "Special Travel Status, Saudis Get Deal Not Available To UK, France." (Countries have to apply for the status and France might not have done so). Connors criticized our energy policy which relies on Saudi Arabia. Doocy said that we have fracking and lots of other awesome energy resources as the chyron read "Skip to the Head of the Line, Saudis to Skip Normal Customs Control." Doocy thanked Connors for talking about (he said sarcastically) the Trusted Traveller Program. When Connors said "it's crazy," Doocy followed with "it is indeed."
Yowza, a propaganda threesome: Islamophobic paranoia, slam on Clinton administration (Bill, Hilary, and Eric Holder), and slam on the Obama Department of Homeland Security. Fox & Friends - who needs real "news" anyway!
So, Goofy Doocy should be concerned about Saudi Arabia’s Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, the second-largest voting shareholder of News Corporation. No telling what he does with the money he earns from News Corporation. Or what he funds.
We encourage the masses to go on Twitter and send this message to the world
“Saudi Arabia’s Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is the second-largest voting shareholder of News Corporation.”
“Fox News Doocy complains about Saudi Arabia terrorists, no mention of Saudi Arabian shareholder of News Corporation.”

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal’s connection to News Corporation

Go on talk radio and tell the world of bin Talal’s connections with News Corporation, and what Goofy Doocy said about Saudi Arabia.
That’s how you deal with these frauds. Expose their hypocrisy.
And where were these dorks when Dubya and Cheney were busy with their plans to invade Iraq (a country which didn’t provide any “students” for al-Qaeda’s little branch of Hijacker U)?
