Fox News Ignores Wisconsin Planned Parenthood Firebombing?

Posted by Priscilla -26.60pc on April 03, 2012 · Flag

On Sunday, an explosive device was detonated on a window sill of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Wisconsin. The damage appears to be minimal; but the FBI is investigating what could and should be classified as domestic terrorism. While MSNBC and CNN have posted articles, so far, Fox News doesn't seem to think that this is newsworthy. One assumes that if a CrisisPregnancyCenter (place where women are dissuaded from having abortions) or the Priests for Life headquarters were firebombed, it would be a daylong lede on the Fox News website and Fox Nation. Those posting comments would blame atheists, Muslims and any other group deemed anathema. But so far, Fox News has bupkis. Go figure. Maybe it's a good thing. If they did report it, the comments would probably be supportive of the bomber. Anyway...

Glenn, you came in here saying that only Fox News showed the video and that CNN and MSNBC didn’t cover it beyond quick mentions.

You clearly didn’t do your homework before you spouted that off, you even admitted as such in response to my links.

And how nice of you to assume that I think only Fox does it. Shows how little you’ve done your homework about me, as well.

“NBC should be fined and brought up on charges for editing the 911 of Zimmerman and inciting racial prejudice.”

Bwaaahahahaha. Did you see/hear what Fox News did in their early coverage? A joke. If there’s grounds to sue NBC then there;s grounds to take Fox Noise off the air for all their editing over the years. Get a grip, man.

Area, thank you . When I saw that clip I wanted to see what MSNBC and CNN views were and was stunned by their extreme protection of the president. I did not see this good , fair coverage.

Did you even bother to look, Glenn? You came in here guns blazing with this point:

How is it that only Fox posted this video? MSNBC and CNN briefly mentioned a gaffe then showed a Romney’s Gaffe or history of Gaffes.

As a counter to the article itself. Seriously, did you bother to put even 10 seconds into a search before you spouted off on that point?

You know what? Don’t bother- I’m not in the mood for it, see you on the next topic. Do try to have a more informed opinion on there, because on a scale of 1 to 100, you scored a -6 here.

Joseph and Visitor, I know we all feel passionate here but I do not want to sink into name calling. I know you can debate Glenn very ably without going there.

Thanks.

Oh, look- MSNBC showing the video!

http://video.msnbc.msn.com/the-daily-rundown/46855286#46855286

The Gaffe was talked about on Morning Joe, The Ed Show, Maddow, and Chris Matthews- with video. And Maddow had RW guests try to change the subject to the gaffe during unrelated segments.

CNN likewise showed several segments, including allowing John McCain on their network to criticize it:

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/03/28/video-mccain-criticizes-obama-for-open-mic-comment-to-medvedev/

But I guess just flipping to see what was being said at the exact second Fox News was beats doing research, huh Glenn?

Now if you would like to pick a subject , like how his policies will devastate the poor or Obamacare which I can discuss as an expert on, let me know.

Why don’t you come back when that’s the topic, and show us what it looks like for you to have an informed opinion on something then? Because you don’t seem to have the first goddamn clue on this one, or the subject you tried to change it to.

Fux Nuze, a proud division of Rupert Murdoch’s phone-hacking, police and political bribing Empire of Lies and Smears. Erasing a 13 year old dead girl’s phone messages and deceiving her parent’s is par for the course. You’d have a soul mate in Rupert except he owns your soul. The RW dilemma falls over the edge of their flat earth. For instance:

Killer O’Reilly’s Credentials

1 – sexually harass fellow employee
2 – incitement leading to murder
3 – influencing NY police re. his squalid marital breakup
4 – suggest raped women get what they’re asking for
5 – suggested sexually abused 10 year old enjoyed it
6 – reported black people are almost human after all

Sterling citizens all.

glenn ringel – Fox certainly knows the level of integrity possessed by their viewing audience, ugh? As does the marketing scam that is contemporary conservativism!

" Fox presents many stories that are intentionally not covered well by other channels." Ummm, you mean like the bogus Acorn sting?

They have a suspect in custody, according to this:

“The man was identified after police reviewed surveillance footage. He was booked into the Outagamie County Jail on Tuesday evening on a probation violation. No charges have yet been referred to prosecutors.

“The focus today is to determine what else we can discover that might link this person to the situation,” Grand Chute Police Chief Greg Peterson said."

Glenn, CBS had a report about it on Friday, I believe. The Young Turks devoted an entire segment on it.

Oh, and Glenn. Wasn’t it Dubya who went before the American public and spoke about how he trusted Putin because he’d looked in Putin’s eyes and got a “sense of his soul” back in June 2001? And why didn’t anyone make a big deal of Putin’s 2007 invitation to Dubya’s Kennebunkport compound when Putin had been the ONLY foreign leader to that date to receive such an invitation?

But, no. FoxNoise continues with its unhealthy obsession with Pres Obama (if this type of behavior were exhibited between a man and a woman in the regular world, the woman would be well advised to get a restraining order).

And I’d suggest that you seek out professional psychological help (or, better yet, psychiatric help since psychiatrists are able to prescribe medication) for your unhealthy devotion to FoxNoise. Granted, if even half of all FoxNoise viewers sought such professional help, the profession would have to resort to group meetings in order to accomodate the sudden rush of clients.

Glenn. This is an apology to you. I heartily apologize for your complete and total ignorance, the ignorance that you persist in displaying by your refusal to remove the FoxNoise blinders that you’re obviously wearing.

I’m sorry that you can’t display an ability to think critically as you’ve spent so long in swallowing the FoxNoise party line that you don’t really recognize when other networks DO cover the news but know when NOT to become obsessed, especially with trivial items that are not as troubling as FoxNoise would like to make them seem. (It’s also worth noting that FoxNoise does seem to IGNORE those little “gaffes”—as you describe them—of Romney’s. If FoxNoise does deign to mention them, they’re quickly pooh-poohed as “unimportant” or “trivial” or “the result of undue fatigue,” and not anything that should be considered a matter of any genuine concern.)

You might want to take a look at your paycheck and then see if yours compares with those of the FoxNoise hosts. I’ve got a feeling that the FoxNoise folks have paychecks that more closely resemble what “unemployed” Mitt Romney makes (see—that was a newsworthy gaffe on Romney’s part; you simply don’t get to call yourself “unemployed” when you CHOOSE to not work because you’re living off a trust fund and building a 4000 square foot mansion—complete with multi-level car garage with its own elevator—on top of an EXISTING mansion) than what you make. But, just keep watching those FoxNoise hosts and keep pretending that they really share the same values (but none of the same daily concerns or worries) that you have.

Oh, I’m sure they’ll be right on it when they stop parading around that fake gash in George Zimmerman’s head to validate their war on hoodies.
