Actor/comedian Donnell Rawlings discussed the film, "Django Unchained" with TMZ recently and jokingly said, "We shootin' white people in this movie. The black dude leaves with his girl into the sunset. There can be no happier movie than that." Fox Nation edited out the middle sentence for a headline giving the impression that only the "shootin' white people" was such a happy thought. They didn't make it clear that this was a joke, either. And they fronted the video with a still of Rawlings looking like Buckwheat. Predictably, their readers erupted with racist, n-word laden hatred. Either nobody bothered to moderate the comments days after they were posted or else Fox thought they were appropriate.
Here's a screen grab of the headline and video:
And here are the comments this predictably engendered. Notice how someone worked President Obama into the racist mix.
A: Yes
.
What cracks me up is that the poxnation editor(s) and moderators don’t seem to care that these type of stories only serve to showcase the racists among their ranks. BOR has time to police the “hate” supposedly posted on liberal websites but he just can’t find the time to call out the hate on his own network’s websites. Interesting how that works.
And, in light of the White House putting out the photo of Obama pulling the trigger at Camp David, I wonder (as, for some reason, I can no longer see the comments at poxnation) if the Skeet Birthers* are over there denying that Obama really did shoot skeet. It’s got to be a Hitleresque, Muslim-lovin’, left-wing cabal of Soros paid liberal photoshoppers. In other words, please proceed, Skeet Birthers. :-]

When was the last time you saw the federal government undertake a massive project to rebuild inner cities and to truly understand, let alone correct, what ails public education and the familial problems of the inner city family. What about drugs? What about the changes in a group who has not been allowed to fully belong to the mainstream culture while being denied their own (when they were forcibly brought to this nation to be slaves)?
You cannot legislate against prejudice and hatred. Well, you can, but it doesn’t necessarily work to make things truly equal in society. Fox News and Fox News Nation has no idea what I am talking about because they are ignorant and greedy.
Fox News could not exist without hatred, made up controversy, and a continual existence of pent-up rage. It’s one way they keep their “base” from learning to think straight and from exercising whatever brains they might have been born with.
They are a disgrace, which of course, as a phrase doesn’t begin to express the real problem they create for our nation.
The scum that comprises the Fox Nation faithful has been manipulated, teased and frightened by into near-hysteria. This is not going to end well for them. Can’t say I can dredge up much sympathy, though.
