Hannity Refuses To Prove His Claim That Killing Of Bin Laden “Wouldn’t Have Happened” If Obama “Had His Way”

Posted by Ellen -394pc on February 10, 2012 · Flag

Sean Hannity is ducking Ed Schultz’ challenge to prove that Osama Bin Laden would still be alive if President Obama “had his way.” Although Schultz captured Hannity saying on Fox News that he could prove that on tape, now that he has been challenged, Hannity has decided to play the victim in the hope that nobody will notice he hasn’t come up with any tape. Well, Sean, we noticed and we’re not falling for your victim routine.

On his radio show yesterday, Hannity played the clip of him peviously saying about Bin Laden’s death, “It wouldn’t have happened if (Obama) had his way and I think that can be proven as well - on tape.”

Schultz did a great job of coming up with lots of tape proving otherwise. In the same segment, he challenged Hannity to “show us the tapes proving President Obama didn’t want to kill the Number One terrorist in the world, Osama Bin Laden, responsible for 9/11.”

Instead, Hannity whined on the radio that he was “dealing with nonsense” and with people “trying to throw me off my game.” He reiterated, “I will stand by this point – that if Barack Obama had his way no Gitmo, no rendition, no enhanced interrogation, no Bin Laden. Wouldn’t have happened.” Funny how Hannity didn’t say anything about being able to prove it on tape this time.

Hannity boasted that he gave Obama “a lot of credit” for capturing bin Laden and then went on to provide an analogy about a passive father taking all the credit for a mother’s work convincing an overweight daughter to lose weight - a not-so-subtle suggestion that President Bush is the one who really deserves the credit for Bin Laden’s death, not credit-hogging Obama.

But while he went to the trouble of “standing by his point” and drawing up an analogy to go with it, Hannity never came up with any tape.

Ed Schultz, on the other hand, debunked the claim that we should thank “enhanced interrogations” for Bin Laden’s death with another load of tape.

You can listen to Hannity and then watch Schultz in clips below. Both are via Media Matters.

By the way, don’t forget that waterboarding fan Hannity still hasn’t fulfilled his promise to be waterboarded for charity. Feel free to remind him either via email at Hannity@foxnews.com or via Twitter at @SeanHannity.

Don’t do Twitter, Brian… If someone is part of a major news story I’m following, I’ll keep their page temporarily in my favourties for if they slip up on there. But that’s it.

@Richard – My attitude towards the Tea Party idiots and especially the accusation of “fearing” them is best summed up by a post someone shared on FB today: “Don’t ever mistake my silence for ignorance, my calmness for acceptance and my kindness for weakness.”

Fear? Hannity’s made his career ginning up the fear of the overly-upholstered ignorant sheep that make up his audience.

Aria & Brian M:

Isn’t that what Twitter is for?

Hannity is a flat coward, Brian. Even Beck lasted longer when I debated him on his FB wall. Which is really, really sad because Beck (or someone on his behalf) replied twice to insult me, then let his fans run the ad hominem marathon until he was bored and blocked me from there.

I emailed Seany about this and the waterboarding thing, but I must be blocked due to my other messages over the years (!), because it was sent back to me a few minutes later. I didn’t type in his address wrong, either.

So if we captured and tried Bin Laden…?

Visitor 55:

If Gitmo and waterboarding were all it took to get Osama Bin Laden, why didn’t President get the job done in the 7 years he had to accomplish it?

What really creeps out & scares the Fux Nuze Morons is the fact that had Gore been POTUS there would not have been a 911.

Exactly, Richard Peterson. President Obama made the ultimate decision. Some of his advisors told him not to go after bin Laden, but he did. The rest is history.

kkklannity is trying to spin and twist as usual. He’s going on the lie that it was torture and Gitmo that led to bin Laden, even though all those experts involved say that torture was never used to get the information on bin Laden. But see, kkklannity lies so much that he’s fallen into the trap of believing his own lies. He’s a pitiful little pig.

We all know Hannity is a perpetual liar, a consummate chicken hawk, a crybaby whiner and a proven coward. He is a one trick pony who still uses the same worn-out script that he used in 2008. But, when he boasts that he can prove “on tape” that President Obama did not want to take out Bin Laden, he is letting his giant ego take over his poorly developed, under-educated brain.

The President is Commander-in-Chief. If he didn’t want to go through with the mission, there would have been no mission. It was Bush who didn’t want to go after Bin Laden. He didn’t care about him. That IS on tape. Ed Schultz has Hannity dead-to-rights and Hannity just whines. Backed into a corner, he suddenly remembers David Ayers and goes on a rant about President Obama’s "close relationship with that no-good, unrepentant terrorist. Then he goes on a long rant about Alec Baldwin as a typical librul. Can you find one liberal who cheered Alec Baldwin for his airline incident? No. The difference between Liberal/Progressives and the whack job neocons is that Liberal/Progressives call out their own when they make mistakes. But the far right whacko’s like Hannity will support their neocon idols even if they were proven to be serious criminals. Alec Baldwin simply represented himself on that airplane. He didn’t shout, “I’m a liberal and I demand to keep my cell phone turned on!”

Hannity often claims that Liberal/Progressives are afraid of the Tea Party and the current Republican candidates. I feel no fear of these people. I only have total disgust for their pandering, flip flopping, and totally idiotic solutions to our nation’s challenges. Keep whining, Hannity. After all, it is your most obvious personality trait. It is telling that Hannity considers his work on radio and television a “game”. For sure, he has been gaming America for 15 years. The house needs to shut him down.

The only game that KKKlannity has is to say as many evil things about President Obama in the course of one hour.I have no idea what is truly wrong with this guy but a psychiatric evaluation wouldn’t be a luxery. It amazes me that he has two shows that are all about lies, insane accusations and hate.Freedom of speech goes a long way in this day and age, exersised extremely well by the likes of Seanie,Bile and the rest of that sorry lot..

Kudos to Ed Schultz and Keith Olberman for calling out KKKlannity for his lies and cowardice.

Is there a thinner-skinned group of public figures (who bad rap many others folks) than InSannity, Bull O’Really?, and their ilk?

Yesterday (2/9/2012) InSannity was ranting about Alec Baldwin. Again.

InSannity makes a big point out of saying he pays no attention to those who critisize him. Over and over and over again…

Big Ed missed Mr. Bush telling a lie about his statement that he didn’t care about Osama Been Forgotten.

You’ve seen the tape where Mr. Bush says that.

Here’s the lie:

Transcript: Third Presidential Debate
Arizona State University, Tempe, Ariz.
October 13, 2004
Debate Transcript From FDCH E-Media, Inc.

Following is a transcript of the third and final presidential debate between between President Bush® and Sen. John F. Kerry (D). The moderator of the nationally televised debate is Bob Schieffer of CBS News.
…
KERRY: Yes. When the president had an opportunity to capture or kill Osama bin Laden, he took his focus off of them, outsourced the job to Afghan warlords, and Osama bin Laden escaped.

Six months after he said Osama bin Laden must be caught dead or alive, this president was asked, “Where is Osama bin Laden?” He said, “I don’t know. I don’t really think about him very much. I’m not that concerned.”

We need a president who stays deadly focused on the real war on terror.

SCHIEFFER: Mr. President?

BUSH: Gosh, I just don’t think I ever said I’m not worried about Osama bin Laden. It’s kind of one of those exaggerations.

Hannity whined on the radio that he was “dealing with nonsense” and with people “trying to throw me off my game.”

And as we all know, kkklannity’s game is trying to get away with as much lying as he can. Now he’s being called on one of his millions of lies and rancid pile of stinky shit deals out the victim card that neocons are so good at.

C’mon kkklannity. You made the accusation, now provide the proof you claim you have, or just admit you’re a habitual liar.

High End Hannocchio is a bold face liar and a coward all rolled up in one.

This disgrace to his father will never waterboard himself for the troops, and will never produce a tape proving his point. As always, his audience will fall for his lies.

The Stop Hannity Express continues to hit the streets and expose this imposter to the masses in the streets. Many people are unaware of Hannocchio’s dark side and his past. He would lose half his audience if his other side became public knowledge.

NOTE TO HANNITY

Genius, your audience are the real victims.

I say that if Hannity hasn’t put up by March 1st, we boycott both his shows off the air. You do NOT make a claim like this against a sitting president, then refuse to put out the proof.

Instead of coming up with the proof, Hannity played the victim.
