Why You Should Never Shake Hands With Fox’s Pete Hegseth

Besides the fact that he’s an adulterous, self-dealing hypocrite, there are even better reasons you should never shake hands with Fox News host Pete Hegseth: He said he never washes them because “germs are not a real thing.”

On Fox & Friends yesterday, Hegseth defended eating day-old pizza left on the set, apparently unrefrigerated, by suggesting he has immunized himself from illness by never washing his hands.

HEGSETH: I don’t think I’ve washed my hands for 10 years. I don’t really wash my hands ever.

I inoculate myself. Germs are not a real thing. I can’t see them. Therefore, they’re not real.

[…]

I can’t get sick. … These hands look pretty clean to me.

Not surprising coming from the network that denies science, logic, and fact. Now you can add cleanliness. Hey Pete, I’ve got an idea for someone with such super brain power as you must have – go fly to the sun! You can go at night and it’ll all be OK. Safe travels!
