UPDATED: You may have noticed our site has a new look to it. We've moved away from our old home with Brave New Films and found a new one with Blogfather Jim Gilliam's terrific host, NationBuilder. We're excited both to be reunited with Jim and Jesse (another BNF alum) and for all the new possibilities our new set up offers. Our new site has a lot of new functionalities, especially regarding social networking. Please bear with us as we work out all the kinks and try to maximize all the potentialities. Have no fear, our old posts will arrive. ALSO, YOU DO NOT NEED TO SIGN IN TO READ THE BLOG. Instructions for signing in and other pointers after the jump.
You will need to sign in to comment and that can be done via email or via Facebook or Twitter. To sign in via email, click on the "email" link and on the next page scroll down until you see "create an account."
The blogroll has not gone away. It's in draft form at the moment because we had some glitches placing it.
We do not have our Forum. The old Forum has been archived and we will link to it as soon as we can. We are looking for new ways for our community to socialize. If we can reconstitute the Forum, we will. I know we've got some techies in the crowd so maybe we can all put our heads together in a week or so.
Again, you do not need to sign in to read the blog. You do need to register and sign in to comment on it. Also, once you sign in, you have access to gaining Political Capital and a few other perks.

UPDATE: The old posts (except for the very recent ones) are available via Google. So if you're especially homesick for one, just google it and it will appear. As I said before, they will be imported into the site in time.
I also miss having my box of falafel (an ode to FOX’s biggest hypocrite, Mr. BOR) avatar image beside my posts. Oh well. :-]
A lot of great memories – and some sad ones too – were made there. AND some great and lasting friendships. Some have become face-to-face friendships, and one of those led to wedding bells!
REGISTERING is easy-peasy. Just sign in with your Facebook or Twitter account, or use your email address and a password. Then go to the user navigation on the right hand side, click your name, and adjust your account settings as you please.
I like the new digs so far. The smell of fresh paint and floor wax is so exciting.
Patience as we move all the furniture from our old joint, over to this spanking new joint. All your favourite features of old will back: the News Hounds archive and The Off Topic Forum. UPDATE: I misunderstood a comment made to me by one of the Tech Team. The OT will not be back. I apologize for the error.
I’m not part of the Tech Team doing the changeover, nor am I privy to any inside info, but I suspect the moving truck’s been delayed somewhere on the vast Information Highway and is too embarrassed to ask for directions.
