As someone who worked her entire life with people from third-world countries, I share Trevor’s resentment. The USA ranks something like No. 25 or 26 on the democracy scale, after several third-world nations. And the country is slipping fast.
When the gun-lovers start acting out on their fears (at the instigation of influencers like the Foxies and other RW commentators) the USA may actually be ranked down at the bottom of the list, under several war-torn countries.
