There’s speculation that Lewis was canned for speaking up about Fox News’ race baiting. I remember that Adam Housley had a period where he may as well have been fired because he was seeing so little face time on the network or the site, and an unconfirmed rumour hit the mill that it was because he had words with someone who told a racist joke in front of his wife.

Housley’s married to former Disney actress Tamera Mowry, for those of you who need context.

The reason that rumour still haunts me is because Fox has always been like that. If there isn’t a ton of outrage about what you did, let it go, because they’re on the side of the offender when it comes to racial offenses, every time. Hell, their affiliates are like that, even here.
