Todd Starnes' perpetual hatred for America has earned him our Most Outrageous Quote Of The Week slot for the second time this month. Starnes' most recent tirade was a masterwork of incendiary hypocrisy. First, he attacked President Obama for "trying to tear (the country) apart" for not speaking out about the George Zimmerman verdict and Trayvon Martin. Then, after President Obama did speak out, Starnes claimed that that "justif(ied)" his earlier comment, that Obama "truly is trying to tear our country apart."

Starnes garnered 66, or 34% of the 194 votes cast last week.

You may recall that Starnes was also our winner earlier in July for his reactions to the Supreme Court rulings in favor of gay marriage: "Supreme Court overrules God" and "Won't be long before they outlaw the Bible as hate speech."
