Larry Wilmore took on Fox News “telepathic” coverage of President Obama’s secret meeting with Vladimir Putin.
As usual, Fox barely hid its admiration for Putin’s manliness and its disdain for President Obama.
WILMORE: For the network that prides itself on its unabashed patriotism, you seem to spend a lot of energy bashing the president of the United States.
Your hatred for Obama has made you fall in love with a man who’s completely and outwardly an anti-American. He makes no bones about it. I know you guys love the red states. I just didn’t realize how red that state can really get.

The only good news is Fox News’ 100% negative coverage of Obama has switched to a fresh topic (or maybe not so much). GOP TV™ daily obsessive smears of the usual evil liberal suspects like Obama and Hillary lead to them beating baloney like Benghazi and Emailgate to death. Not a problem with Syria… or maybe not.
Certainly, Fox News has deafened us all for years beating the drum Obama is failing in Syria by not following their vague, non-specific slam-dunk hawkish solutions. However, the latest GOP TV™ hysteria is masterful Putin is power-grabbing in Syria. While the End Times GOP TV™ predicted in the past haven’t quite panned out this is surely the Apocalypse. If not, wait for the next Obama harbinger of America’s destruction which can’t be but moments away!
You probably witnessed Bill O’Reilly flipping out last night (looked like his typical faux outrage) over Obama’s ‘worst diplomacy in this history of America.’ Yep, any day now the Russians are going to storm the White House like the Brits did in the War of 1812.
On script yesterday, weather guy turned foreign policy expert and ace military strategist Steve Doocy raged on “Fox And Friends” (certainly where I turn for all my serious journalism) Obama is ceding the entire Middle East to Russia. Because we all know Syria – which is on the verge of collapse – is the cornerstone to domination in that region. We also know that Soviet era Russia was so successful at dominating the region during the Cold War. Not to mention their successful military interventions in places like Afghanistan and Chechnya. So Cold War leftover Putin certainly can replicate those successes into world domination.
If you wonder why my daily habit of watching GOP TV™ is reduced mostly to a wake-up with “Fox & Friends” and a cup of java it’s because their right-wing vomit has grown so lazy and stupid I can’t be bothered. Not to mention each show just parrots each other with the same stale right-wing talking points so the redundancy quickly grows boring.
