Sydney Leathers visited the Hannity show tonight for a lengthy interview about her sexting relationship with Anthony Weiner. Frankly, I don’t care about her, him or their relationship. But she did say some interesting things about Sean Hannity.
First off, she nailed Hannity, saying she thought he might “attack” her because of their “political differences.” But she quickly added, “It’s not surprising that you’re nice to me because I’m taking down a Democrat. If I were going after a Republican, I think it might be a little different.”
When Hannity objected, saying he wants “good, honest” people in office, Leathers jumped in, “So you don’t like Senator David Vitter? You don’t have a problem with him and his prostitutes?”
Hannity said he does and conceded that “it’s a fair point.” But we all know it’s a “problem” he keeps to himself and doesn’t discuss ad nauseum the way he would if Vitter were a Democrat.
The other interesting thing was at about 4:15, when Hannity said, “Apparently (Weiner) disliked me the most out of – I’m actually proud of that on the other side.”
Leathers replied, “Yeah, he said you were ‘the worst.’” They both laughed.
“And you at the time, you told me on radio, you agreed with him,” Hannity said.
“Well, I didn’t say you were the worst," Leathers told him. "I actually was expecting him to say a colleague in the House, so I was thinking of, you know, Michele Bachmann or some nut that I don’t like. But he said you. So, yeah.”
Hannity changed the subject.
At least Weiner got something right.
NOTE TO HANNITY
You got one thing right. You are old.
