On Fox & Friends post-debate coverage this morning, the Curvy Couch crew scrambled to bury their disappointment in Mitt Romney’s failure to hammer President Obama on the Fox faux controversy du jour, Benghazi-gate. Host Steve Doocy announced – not once, but twice – that Romney had proven himself fit to be Commander-in-Chief.
In the first hour, Doocy said:
For the most part, though, Mr. Obama (that should be “President Obama” to you, Steve) was trying to, you know, trying to punch and trying to get Mr. Romney into a fight. Mr. Romney would not take the bait. He tried to remain above it all. Did he pass the Commander-in-Chief test? Yes!
For all those who were sleeping or maybe taking a shower, Doocy repeated the acclamation near the top of the second hour.
Mitt Romney had a high bar to hurdle and that was to prove that he was suitable to be the Commander-in-Chief. And you know what? At the end of the hours and a half, he certainly did just that.
Even when Romney loses, Fox News makes sure he wins.

3. Richest on earth cannot pay its way. DUMB. In 2012, we taxed 2450B of 14,000B income for 17.5% tax rate. We needed $1100 more in taxes to pay our way. 8% more of our income. We can afford it. We are better than Chile and Mexico?? Pay our way.

When he says Willard “passed the Commander-in-Chief Test,” he’s right — especially when you consider the CinC Romney spent much of the night emulating was . . . Obama.
From the LA Times:
Presidential debate: Romney endorses Obama
Monday’s presidential debate, the third and last between President Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney, featured a forceful and articulate defense of Obama’s foreign policy. That was no surprise. What was surprising was that it came from Romney.
That seemed to annoy the president â who was prepared to rebut his opponent’s previous, more bellicose pronouncements. But the ever-shifting Republican nominee tacked even closer to the moderate middle than he did in the debate devoted to economic policy.
Once Romney intimated that he might keep U.S. troops in Afghanistan past NATO’s 2014 deadline. No more. Now he agrees with Obama that it is feasible to transfer combat responsibilities to the Afghans by that point. On Iran, Romney emphasized economic sanctions rather than the threat of a military attack, effectively endorsing Obama’s approach. On Syria, Romney disappointed some of his neoconservative supporters by forswearing direct U.S. military intervention or the establishment of a no-fly zone.
