Today, it was revealed that an armed felon was allowed in an elevator with President Obama during his recent trip to Atlanta. Of course, that's a serious breach of Secret Service protocol. So how do you think the "America loving" readers at Fox Nation reacted?
From the Washington Post:
A security contractor with a gun and three prior convictions for assault and battery was allowed on an elevator with President Obama during a Sept. 16 trip to Atlanta, violating Secret Service protocols, according to three people familiar with the incident.
...The elevator incident exposed another serious breakdown in the Secret Service’s safety protocols: this one meant to keep the president safe from strangers when he travels to events outside the White House. In close quarters or small events, when the president is on the road, all of the people who could have access to him must be checked in advance for weapons and any criminal history.
According to the Examiner, the threat to President Obama "appeared minimal." But many of the Fox Nation readers were openly disappointed.
Fox Nation, which is run by O'Reilly ambush producer Jesse Watters - claims to be a community "committed to the core principles of tolerance, open debate, civil discourse, and fair and balanced coverage of the news." Check out what passes for tolerance and civil discourse there:
There was also this "tolerant" conspiracy theory:
They INVENT the news instead of reporting it!
“Another Secret Service hit and miss!”
Joe, if it weren’t for the sex props (bleached blondes in short skirts and high heels) Fox “News” ratings would be lower.
In fact, all of the female anchors and hosts on Fox “News” are sex props designed to attract the 55 plus males. That’s their secret for high numbers. Sex sells.
Most of the demos are older males and females, but due to pressure from advertisers to bring in younger demos, the suits have been courting younger audience, i.e. spring break, and pot stories.
Hannocchio has been courting younger audiences with guest appearances at conservative-themed private events that targets college-age students. He poisons their young minds about politics, voting, etc.
This Long Island Lolito will be on the road in 2015 making paid guest appearances. He’s not worth the fee. There are plenty of people who will do it for free. Have you heard him speak??!! Without his teleprompter and notes in front of him, he’s lost!!
Not troubling news for us, Joe. What’s coming down the pipeline will be troubling news for the “tin man.” A little nickname he hates, but you won’t hear it from him publicly.
A little story about Intern Jesse. A few years ago at a major conservative event, this little clown-yes he is short-mocked a journalist for using a non-professional camcorder. This little midget was unprofessional, and an embarrassment to his camera crew who was with him. If the field producer had guts he would have told Intern Jesse to shut-up.
All of them are idiots.
What I find more significant is how the right wing media in general is ignoring the Secret Service story; who cares if deranged nutcases are running through the White House with weapons!
In the few minutes I listened to Slanthead Hannity last few days, I never heard him bring it up.
Tuesday, he was in a total snit over the “fact” that “Obama doesn’t attend intelligence briefings and plays golf instead.”
Monday and the previous Friday, Hannochio was on terror alert, full bore. When the news first broke about the beheading in Oklahoma, Seanny said “we can’t come to any conclusions,” and then did just that; speculated that ISIS had gotten across the border and would now be cutting off American heads.
Monday, Slanthead said, “I have a very, very, very keen sense of how awful it will get … but I’m not trying to scare anyone!”
Meanwhile (somewhat OT), ratings for FNC are up:
The younger demo is up too, even for Hannochio. Maybe troubling news for Antoinette who’s been telling us that only aging farts watch him?
