Russell Brand Explains How Fox News Perpetuates Terrorism

Russell Brand took apart Jeanine Pirro’s unhinged comments about killing Muslims and explained why, as comical as they are, they are no laughing matter.

Brand dissected Pirro’s commentary over the weekend in which she repeatedly called for more killing in the wake of the terrorist attacks in France. She made such bloodthirsty comments as, “Bomb them, bomb them and bomb them again!”

Brand made an important point about Fox News' hate mongering and fear mongering about Islam: Rupert Murdoch has an economic interest in perpetuating war against terrorism and in the Middle East. Brand put Pirro’s efforts into that context:

This person is prepared, the same as the terrorists, to cast aside human values. …What she’s doing, whilst it’s obviously not as violent or as gory or as terrible, it’s equally damaging because it’s insidious and has great reach. And she’s operating on behalf of people with their own ideologies. And there are consequences.

"We have an obligation to disavow the hatred – yes, of the terrorists that conducted the murders in Paris, but also women and humans like Judge (Jeanine)," Brand continued.

We agree 100%.

Then Brand zeroed in on why it is so important that we counter Pirro and Fox:

While Judge (Jeanine) and Fox News are hilarious to watch, they’re not doing this as a comedy program. This is to promote the economic ideologies of the United States and Rupert Murdoch personally who profits from the attitude of condemnation and dehumanization of Muslims. Remember, there are consequences to this that are very, very serious. Violence and division are the consequence of programming and rhetoric like this – which benefits the terrorists themselves, because they can now justify recruitment of more angry, disenfranchised people that are.

We could not have said it any better ourselves.

One small correction to Brand: Pirro is Italian American, not African American as far as I know.

Obviously Russell Brand DID NOT flunk elementary physics in high school like Jeanine Pirro did, because he obviously understands that human nature is VERY SIMILAR to the fundamental law of physics:

FOR EVERY ACTION, THERE IS A REACTION!

In the same way, when you push any group of people around long enough (especially Muslims and Palestinians), SOONER OR LATER THEY WILL PUSH BACK!

We don’t laugh at fox. Would be nice if we could, but it’s a cancer in this country, and it’s not funny in the least. Idiots like this wench, judge jeanine, is a terrorist as bad as any suicide bomber. she does everything in her power to stir up fear and hatred in her buffoons in the audience, and they fall for this schtick, and it’s not funny at all. It’s tragic.

I appreciate his pointing it out, and I wish we could have a laugh at it; but it’s some pretty scary shit, and it comes back to haunt us daily in the hate radio and on the rest of his sick network of freaks and leg shots. Pathetic nation of morons, those that tune in and take this crap seriously….MILLIONS of ameriKKKans.

Yeah, I got that she’s Lebanese, as well. But to be fair, before we correct this again… If you google it, there’s plenty of people in comment sections who claim they have it from Pirro’s mouth that she’s Italian, and you’ll find no shortage of real Italians who are offended by it.

Given that you can also google her name against “pathological liar” and come up with freakin’ essays, there’s no doubt in my mind that she promoted that at some point, and I just don’t know where yet. My best guesses are either as a career move, or as a dodge in post 9/11 hysteria.
