Rupert Murdoch took to Twitter to defend the all-white cast of Exodus, an upcoming film from one of the mogul’s many media entities. But Murdoch’s attempts to explain why only white people were cast as Egyptians seems to have done more harm than good.
From New York Daily News:
Critics claim the upcoming film ― which tells the story of Moses’ escape from Egypt ― is racially inaccurate and offensive. Director Ridley Scott cast Christian Bale as Moses and a slew of other white actors as famous Egyptians.
But Murdoch ― who owns the studio producing the film ― doesn’t understand the backlash.
“Moses film attacked on Twitter for all white cast. Since when are Egyptians not white? All I know are,” he Tweeted Friday. (my emphasis)
Not surprisingly, that engendered another burst of criticism, so Murdoch put out two more tweets that didn't exactly calm the storm:
So Murdoch changed the subject:
It’s not a huge surprise that Murdoch would fail to understand why people find the casting offensive. His cable news network seems to think the only people suffering discrimination in the world are Christians and whites.

Inside scoop of Ruthless.
If you want to spend time with Ruthless. Get in line. He spends a majority of his days in meetings with the top suits of his many-as we call it-properties. When he’s not at his LEED Silver certification Ivory Tower on top of News Corporation, he’s flying to Los Angeles, U.K., Australia, and other places to meet with the top suits of his overseas properties.
When he’s not in meetings with the suits he is attending a private company-related event in Los Angeles and other cities throughout the country. You would think such travels would exhaust an old man like Ruthless. He always travels with an entourage who handles his business and personal needs.
Since we are on the topic of News Corporation we will give you an inside tour at this hideous 44-floor skyscraper. On the inside it looks like an upscale hotel complete with a massive lobby and reception desk.
By the way, not all floors are used by these frauds. Other private companies-tenants-rent out offices at the top floors.
Some offices look like sets from a Stanley Kubrick film, complete with white walls and ceilings. The interiors are polished shine, including the floors.
The building has escalators, and several elevators that takes you to your offices, to the cafe, or gym.
Don’t try anything because big brother is watching you through 24-hour closed circuit video surveillance system inside the building. Those men and women in their nice pressed coats are in the building.
Key card access turnstiles prevents unauthorized visitors. Ruthless employees must wear their IDs. These clowns want to know who’s who. To prevent unwanted visitors the men and women in their nice pressed coats stand outside the glass doors staring at people.
Oversize posters promoting these Fox “News” cafeteria Catholics are all over the place, and so are monitors showing Fox “News” Channel.
The workstations looks futuristic with large monitors showing-yes-Fox “News” Channel. The studios are small. Wide angle lenses are used to enhance the size of the set. The studio audience setup is small, and there is an applause sign above to signal the seals to clap.
If you are not taking the subway to this skyscraper of horrors you can park underground and risk smelling the car fumes.
Part two next time.
NOTE TO RUTHLESS RUPY
Retire old man, and don’t pass it on to that useless, pathetic boy of yours.
