Rupert Murdoch And Jerry Hall Engaged

The reported romance of Rupert Murdoch and Mick Jagger's ex-squeeze, Jerry Hall, is not only true, it's going to be a marriage.

From the U.K.'s Daily Mail:

Jerry Hall and Rupert Murdoch have announced their engagement in a newspaper article, just four months into their romance.

Rupert, the executive chairman of News Corporation, which owns The Times, announced the news on the Births, Marriages and Deaths page of the newspaper.

The classified ad read: 'Mr Rupert Murdoch, father of Prudence, Elisabeth, Lachlan, James, Grace and Chloe Murdoch, and Miss Jerry Hall, mother of Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel Jagger are delighted to announce their engagement.'

When the relationship was first revealed, I wrote, "File under 'Ugh.'" I think now we can file under "Double Ugh."

I definitely agree with him being a successful conservative with his career. Was thinking more along the line of his lifestyle choices. A few years back he said he didn’t believe the holy book. As far as politics, I guess he’s capable of looking at both sides. I’m a fan now and was 45 years ago.

Rupert and Mick are not that dissimilar. Remember when Jerry divorced Mick? Mick didn’t think he should pay any child support whatsoever. One of the richest men in the UK.
