Roger Ailes Gets The Stephen Colbert Treatment

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on December 14, 2012 · Flag

Stephen Colbert set his comedic sights on the news that Roger Ailes tried to recruit General David Petraeus to run for president. Funny stuff, as usual... and at their expense! (h/t Connie M.)

For your Friday evening enjoyment, from the December 10, 2012 The Colbert Report.

Oops, I meant “sight” and “site!”

This time, I plead fatigue.

Thank you, David Hindin. You are right about “sight” and “sight.” I corrected the post.

I was typing it fast, on a quick break at work, on my endlessly-annoying netbook in a spot with unreliable wifi.

Still, I know the difference and should have caught the error.

@truman: “The teabagging Repugs should just skip the lengthy 2016 Presidential primaries.” And deprive us of all the fun of watching non-officeholders like Herman Cain spout off on foreign policy? Rick “Helmethair” Perry run to be the head of the same gov’t he wants to secede from? Michele Bachmann telling us how “certain people” aren’t “real Americans”? Newt Gingrich fail to pay either his creditors or his campaign staffers? Donald “The Combover” Trump and Sarah “Lady Blah Blah” Palin tease candidacies they have no intention of pursuing?

Perish the thought!

The teabagging Repugs should just skip the lengthy 2016 Presidential primaries. Just cut to the chase and ask Wrinkled Rupert and Jabba The Ailes who the nominee will be.

Could there be a more deserving target for ridicule?
