Advertisers may be fleeing Bill O’Reilly and it’s unclear how solid his support from the Murdochs may be but there’s one person O’Reilly can count on: his milkshake BFF, Donald Trump.
In a New York Times article called, “Trump, Citing No Evidence, Suggests Susan Rice Committed Crime,” the Times reveals that actual evidence of wrongdoing is irrelevant to Trump (my emphases added):
Mr. Trump also criticized media outlets, including The New York Times, for failing to adequately cover the Rice controversy — while singling out Fox News and the host Bill O’Reilly for praise, despite a Times report of several women who have accused Mr. O’Reilly of harassment. The president then went on to defend Mr. O’Reilly, who has hosted him frequently over the years.
“I think he’s a person I know well — he is a good person,” said Mr. Trump, who during the interview was surrounded at his desk by a half-dozen of his highest-ranking aides, including the economic adviser Gary Cohn and the chief of staff, Reince Priebus, along with Vice President Mike Pence.
“I think he shouldn’t have settled; personally I think he shouldn’t have settled,” said Mr. Trump. “Because you should have taken it all the way. I don’t think Bill did anything wrong.”
Trump may not think his buddy did anything wrong but many people in a better position to know about O'Reilly's behavior toward women disagree.
Then again, Trump is probably not the most reliable judge of proper sexual behavior. Let’s not forget what he has been caught on video saying:
“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”
“And when you’re a star, they let you do it,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”
“Whatever you want,” says another voice, apparently [Billy] Bush’s.
“Grab them by the p---y,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”
After that video became public, a series of women came forward to accuse Trump of inappropriately touching or kissing them.
According to a recent tweet from CNBC’s Steve Kopack, 31 companies have now stopped running ads on The O’Reilly Factor.
Watch Trump talk about grabbing women “by the p***y” below, from the 2005 video released last fall by The Washington Post.

NOTE TO ALL FEMALE FOX “NEWS” EMPLOYEES PAST AND PRESENT
Contact Attorney Lisa Bloom and tell her everything about this satanic network and its demonic suits who are hiding in the shadows.
Fox and Bill know that this week he’s going to take a beating. Because of his ratings, I believe he’ll survive and I think he does too.
Bill is hoping this story fades away, but if this is still a story a month from now, not from us, but from the three big networks and he keeps losing sponsors, then perhaps he could be in trouble.
The worst that can happen to him is if someone else steps forward. He must know if there are others to be very worried that they do.
But let’s show respect and not forget that Bill is a hero from the Falkland War. He survived that too.
O’Reilly and Trump’s behavior here is that of the typical bully – they’re practically daring people to call them on their viciousness. And when people do stand up to call them on it, these guys bat it away and act like it doesn’t affect them. They’re never going to concede any ground until it is physically taken from them.
So when the other shoes start to fall, it will be interesting to see how they react.
