Oooh, we’ve got some goodies for you this week. If ever there was a need for an “all of the above” option, this week would be it. But no such luck. Check them out after the jump and you’ll see what I mean.

This week’s nominees are:

Brunell Donald-Kyei:

“We know that Hillary Clinton has taken money from countries that behead women and throw homosexuals off buildings so you’re aiding and abetting in the murder of homosexuals as well as beheading and disrespect of women.”

Jeff Rovin:

“Look, The New York Times has become the [National] Enquirer, the Enquirer has become The New York Times.”

Bill Hemmer:

“I’m looking at early voting. You have good news in Ohio. White share of the vote’s up three points from four years ago. Black share of the vote is down seven.”

Newt Gingrich, speaking to Megyn Kelly:

“You are fascinated with sex and you don’t care about public policy. That’s what I get out of watching you tonight.”

Monica Crowley:

“My old boss, former president Richard Nixon, what he did was child’s play compared to the range of corruption and collusion that we have seen through this administration!

Pretty much every day has been an impeachable offense! Every day of the four years that Mrs. Clinton was secretary of state, she was leveraging her public office to enrich herself and empower herself and her family’s foundation!”

I disagree, Andy. My thought is that The Big O and his crew recognised what a hair-trigger there was on a general rebellion in 2008/9, much like there will be next Wednesday. Considering the Olympic-level obstructionism from the righties, coupled with the craven attitudes of alleged Democrats like Joes Manchin and Lieberman, Obama has achieved a lot more by keeping the lid on outright civil war than if he had taken on the forces of denseness head-on.

While I think Crowley was somewhat melodramatic about it and blithely glossed over Nixon’s crimes, it’s hard to argue with her point that corruption and collusion does seem to hang from Obama and Clinton(s) like Spanish moss from the old cypress tree.

Obama:

*refused to even make a pretense of investigating Bush and his henchmen despite the evidence and despite his campaign promises to do so;

*bailed out the criminal banks, publicly announcing via his AG that no criminal banksters would be prosecuted (despite their obvious criminality), and in fact installed banksters in his administration to guard the henhouse;

*continues to push TPP, a deal written by corporate lobbyists and lawyers with little if any input from unions, the public, even Congress, that is apparently so odious that unions, the public and even Congress are not allowed to know the gory details, despite his campaign promise that any trade deals on his watch would involve unions and the public and would benefit the people, not big corporations.

*and much more!

Clinton(s): I need go no further than the hundreds of millions the Clintons have raked in making speeches (for thousands and thousands of dollars a minute), frequently to the same people she now pretends will be a target of her administration even as she accepts their campaign contributions. And no transcripts available.

So just how stupid are we? I’ve always said that, Democrat or Republican, we’re screwed either way. The only difference is that the Democrats at least lube us up a little first.

Hemmer was disgraceful, of course, and Gingrich was unintentionally hilarious, but C-C-Crowley (gawd, even saying her name sticks in my craw) jumped the shark in a truly epic performance. 10/10.

Creepy Crawley. Every day an impeachment.

Hemmer’s brainless comment is just another example of how low the bar for acceptable journalism is these days.

With a week to go until the election likely ends in Der Furor’s fall, I expect fair and balanced Fox News to set records for Outrageous Quote of the Week.

Just this a.m. on “Fox & Friends” I’m witnessing the most grossly biased softball ‘interview’ between Brian Kilmeade and Pete Hegseth. Sorry to be crude but the pair pretty much went down on Hair Hitler and sucked his foreskin off. It all revolves around a Clinton update to the classic “Daisy” anti-nuke ad. A sampler? Hillary is ‘corrosive corruption’ while The Donald is a ‘patriot’.

Yeah, fair and balanced. Just like “Fox & Friends” doing their typical one-sided ‘Obamacare’ story where they never say anything positive about the program. I defy anyone to find any Fox News reporter doing anything but focusing on the negative. So we get a news update on ACA open enrollment starting with the intro it’s ‘making people sick’.

There’s not enough alcohol in the world to get me though watching Fox up until the election. ;^)

As a student of Watergate, I have to give it to Crowley.

Here are some of my Watergate writings, as they apply to the Fox “News” Channel:

Aunty Em Ericann’s Bun Fight With James Rosen of Fox “News” at http://notnowsilly.blogspot.com/2012/05/aunty-ems-bun-fight-with-james-rosen-of.html

Did Roger Ailes Dupe James Rosen, Or Did Rosen Dupe ’Merka? at http://notnowsilly.blogspot.com/2013/03/did-roger-ailes-dupe-james-rosen-or-did.html

With all my love,
Uncle Em

Tough to go against Colmes’s sister-in-law, but Hemmer’s comment was unbelievable. Whites up three, blacks down seven in Ohio. Why this comment didn’t go national just shows the collusion among these “news” networks.
