O’Reilly’s Racial Attack Of The Day: Blame Blacks For Unemployment

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on July 26, 2013 · Flag

Bill O’Reilly is continuing to whitesplain his mean-spirited “solutions” for African Americans which somehow always amount to a scolding attack. O’Reilly has a long list of complaints about blacks, it seems. He blames them for Trayvon Martin’s killing, suggests they overreact to racial profiling, castigates them for admiring the wrong civil rights leaders, for having too many children out of wedlock and now – denigrating them for not having a higher rate of employment. Oh, and for extra Fox News points, O'Reilly tied it into President Obama and his speech the day before about the economy and income inequality.

After blaming President Obama for the “anemic” economic growth, O’Reilly let loose on his new favorite targets:

Even if there were plenty of jobs, most employers are not going to hire people who can’t read well and speak proper English. Right now, the unemployment rate among black males, ages 16-19  - 57%! 57%! It’s 25% for white males that age. Overall, black unemployment - 14%. White unemployment – 6.6. The reason? In many poor neighborhoods, there’s chaos, violence and little discipline in the public schools. Kids aren’t learning. Also, with the African American out-of-wedlock birth rate at 73%, many young blacks are unsupervised and prone to imitate bad behavior.

Don’t forget, this is coming from the guy who reportedly pulled strings to have his local police investigate the detective he thought was his wife’s paramour, who quickly settled a sexual harassment suit against him, probably spending millions to do so, and who exhibited something a lot of us would call “bad behavior” on the air when he screamed, “We’ll do it live, f*** it!” I’ll include the video for that little segment underneath the Talking Points, for your reference. But O’Reilly earns a lot of money for his hate mongering so maybe that doesn’t count in his mind. Plus, of course, he’s white.

So I hate to say this, Bill, but some of that bad behavior those kids might be imitating could very well be your own.

“Even if there were plenty of jobs, most employers blah, blah blah.” There aren’t plenty of jobs! Full Stop. And that’s the problem-an economic problem sits and steams, while Bill rails about social problems that he imagines exist from his perch on high. Anyone who values this man’s advice on the black community isn’t looking for a dose of reality, they want their bigotry spoon fed to them.

Finally! Bill has the courage to speak the truth! Praise our father who art in heaven, Ronald Reagan. Just look at the employment rate for white basketball players in the NBA. It must around 90%. These men have hungry mistresses to feed, you know. Preach on my brother. Next on the O’Reilly Factor Bill explains why those involved in the Occupy Wall Street Movement are directly responsible for the sinking of the Titanic. You don’t want to miss it.

Does Mr O’Reilly know there are whites who are also illiterate and don’t speak so goodly? There are lousy role models everywhere. They are all colors and genders. And, yes, they should be ignored. But that doesn’t fit the Fox narrative. Methinks this is part of the overall attempt to gin up anger in the hope of sparking a serious racial upheaval. This isn’t criticism meant to inform. It’s meant to be punitive and vicious. Unfortunately, it plays well with the man’s viewers.
