For anyone looking to start the new year with some laughs at Fox News’ and Donald Trump’s expense, you can’t go wrong with “Outfox the Holidays,” embedded after the jump. Its spoofing of some Fox-loving, elderly parents is hilarious and right on target.
For the record, I do not agree with the recommended action at the end, but that has not interfered at all with my enjoyment of the video. In fact, I found it so funny, I watched it twice.
Watch it below to help start your new year happily in the age of Trump.

Here’s a hug, scooter. I realise it won’t help much but accept it with my sympathies. Fox(fake)News has done a lot of damage to the body politic of the USA.
If it’s any consolation, the phenomenon is not limited to the USA. The attractions of populism (self-satisfied pride in being part of people one can drink a beer with) are being felt all over Europe.

I actually wish I lived closer to my folks – I would do this. In the last 10 years I have watched my folks turn from typical conservative repubs who might argue policy with Dems, to full on racists who hate anything even remotely Democratic. They believe all the lies about HRC and her pizza joint basement pedophile ring and Nancy Pelosi might as well be the anti-christ. My folks have gone ‘round the bend. This year I refused to come home for Xmas simply because I cannot break bread with my family (whom I still love) of Trump supporters. I knew I would not be able to contain myself and my rage would fly. I blame all of this squarely on their nightly viewing of FOX and its insipid propaganda. They never missed O’Reiily before he was canned, and now it’s Hannity every stinking night. They are gone, and too old and stubborn to change. Sad.
