Thanks for the reminder, Carole S. I have only a vague memory of it. Some Fox segments and posts are seared in my mind and others vanish from my brain.

Ellen, It was before the report was released to the public. When the report was completed in July 2014, several media outlets ran the findings from the Dem side of the select committee. You found a FOX News video clip where Catherine Herridge interviewed Rogers take on those findings (which of course did not address the accusations by FOX of a “stand down” order) insinuating that the State Dept. was in serious trouble. As we all know now, the findings caused a setback for the FOX News conspiracy theorists.

In November when the report became public, Mediaite reported that FOX only spent about 30 sec on the story:

Actually, Rogers did come on to talk about the report, but had a totally different take than the Dem committee chairman. Ellen should remember because she found the clip for me.

Jon Stewart’s take down was great! I just don’t know what took him so long. Maybe he was just looking for the right opportunity. FOX News hypocrisy at its best!
