On Monday’s Happening Now (5/14/12), Jon Scott spoke with Tom Bevan, Executive Director of Real Clear Politics, on this year's elections under the heading "Popular Bills given ‘poison pills’ to force opposing party to vote ‘no.’” Bevan explained, “You have two parties that are at loggerheads.“ After a bit more discussion on the partisan acrimony, “objective” Scott closed the discussion by saying, “Well, sounds like gridlock is a good thing because the government can't get in the way, so we'll see."
Way to be fair and balanced, Jon!
True, Somalia is a neoKKKon/teabagger paradise — no recognized gov’t, no national healthcare, no taxes, plenty of guns.
The only drawback, of course, is all the blah people . . .
No Government at all is great Government. If you like Somalia, you will love Teabagger USA.
I hope Jon’s parents are getting Social Security checks — so when gov’t is out of “the way” and those checks stop coming, we’ll see if he thinks gridlock is still “a good thing” . . .
