John Oliver's Hilarious Takedown Of Geraldo Rivera's Baltimore coverage

John Oliver took on media coverage of the violent protests in Baltimore by joking that the "delicate situation" had been handled "with all the deft, not-at-all racist touch that they’ve become known for.”

Oliver highlighted how Fox News' Geraldo Rivera and CNN's Brian Todd each misidentified one of the protesters as hip hop mogul Russell Simmons. “Geraldo, you do realize that when African Americans stand together as one, that does not mean they’re all literally the same person, right?” Oliver "asked."

It got funnier - and more serious at the same time - from there.

Watch it below, from the May 3 Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

Geraldo has been a narcissistic joke from day one. He went into TV to get attention and be famous.

One more reason to wish John Oliver was taking over The Daily Show.
