Not surprisingly, Fox host Jeanine Pirro addressed the controversy swirling over Donald Trump’s tweet urging people to watch her show last night.
Trump never said why he wanted people to watch Pirro’s Justice with Judge Jeanine show. But in her opening commentary, Pirro blasted Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and demanded he step down. There was speculation that her message was his.
Tonight, Pirro opened by chirping, “Lots of excitement this weekend!” Then, she recapped Trump’s tweet, her open last night and a clip of White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus saying, improbably, that Trump’s tweet was due to the fact that Trump “loves Judge Jeanine and he wanted to do Judge Jeanine a favor.”
As I asked in an earlier post, when has Trump ever promoted anyone but himself or his family in his tweets?
Pirro offered no explanation for Trump’s tweet. Instead, she said, “I told you that last night. My opens are my opinion and the president and I did not talk about it.”
Well, just because they didn’t “talk” about it doesn’t mean that Trump wasn’t somehow clued in to what she was going to say and wanted to promote that.
Or he had some other reason to promote her show.
Meanwhile, watch her comments below, from the March 26, 2017 Justice with Judge Jeanine.
This is a microcosm of #Russiagate. We have clear evidence of collusion but Trump and his merry band of ass-kissing sycophants are blowing more smoke than the Great Chicago Fire.
