Hannity’s Idea Of Racial Sensitivity: Attack The NAACP

Sean Hannity didn’t want to discuss the actual issues behind the huge protest in North Carolina last weekend organized, in part, by the NAACP. So instead, he put his special brand of racial sensitivity on display by ignoring the racial issues being protested and embarrassing and smearing the NAACP as racists. Classy.

Hannity sent one of his favorite African American black attackers, David Webb, to ambush Rev. William Barber, the head of the local chapter. Fox News has been after Barber ever since he had the nerve to characterize African American Republican Senator Tim Scott as a ventriloquist’s dummy.

I guess Barber never got the message that it’s only fair to smear black liberals in Fox World. In fact, Hannity had so much fun, he played the smearing video of Barber and a few of the protesters twice. Although the ones shown in the video told Webb (and the Hannity viewers) that they thought the Tea Party was racist, they couldn’t think of an example. It was hard to miss Hannity's racial message as he railed about African American criticism of black conservatives afterward.

As it happens, the video Hannity showed was extensively edited. But just in case you believe Hannity, News Corpse has a nice graphic of just the kinds of examples Hannity wants to pretend are a figment of NAACP supporters’ (racist) imaginations. Because in Fox World, the only victims of race worth discussing are either white or black conservatives.

Meanwhile, since Fox seems fixated on Rev. Barber, I think we ought to make sure he knows about Hannity’s history of palling around with a white supremacist, his long record of promoting race baiting, his support for segregated housing and his enduring friendship with a slavery apologist. If Hannity wants to ambush him again, he'll get the earful he deserves.

His report on this issue tonight was revolting. Please stick to his fraudulent reporting and call him out for the race baiter he is. He actually asked if it was morally wrong for Rev. Barbour to speak about Tim Scott as a member of the NAACP. There is nothing that makes it wrong to bring about the motives of a politician no what color they are. He is a vile, evil man.

As for Hannocchio the Thespian, his racist actions speak louder than words, via his choice of friends, neighborhoods, private schools, cities, and his children’s friends, which are predominantly white.

Hannocchio the Thespian’s house boy, Webb thought he was slick, and tried to ambush the Rev. Barber at the march and at the news conference. Nice try, you Tea Nut puppet.

Next time you see this puppet confront him with this gem: “Does it bother you that the man you associate with use to associate with a neo Nazi who referred to all black people, whether conservative or liberal, as savages? Ask him why he would strike up a friendship with someone like Hal Turner?” Or, ask any black conservative the same question.
