Pamela Geller has no expertise on Egypt, U.S. foreign policy or even the religion of Islam – other than the fact that her hostility is so extreme, her organization has been listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center and Great Britain recently banned her from entering their country because her visit was deemed “not conducive to the public good.” But the Hannity show presented her as an authority to comment on the then-demonstrations against Egypt’s President Morsi last week. Geller not only displayed her ignorance and shallow grasp of the situation, but she got a good chunk of sympathetic air time to hate monger, including saying that President Obama is “consistently on the side of jihadic, Islamic supremacist regimes.”
The segment aired on Monday, July 1, just before Morsi was forced out of office. Geller was dressed in a jacket with military brass that made her look as if she had just stepped out of the Beatles’ Sergeant Pepper album (all that loud-mouthed aggression has never translated into actually suiting up and serving). Her commentary was just as ridiculous.
First, Geller announced that Obama “has committed himself to the Muslim Brotherhood against the democratic forces.” Not that Sean Hannity felt the need to correct that falsehood - because who cares if Morsi was democratically elected and that President Obama supported the process of democracy and not any political party or candidate - when you’ve got an Islamophobic agenda to promote? Senator John McCain has opposed the coup, but just because he served nearly 30 years in the Navy and sits on the Homeland Security, Foreign Relations and Senate Armed Services Committees (he is the Ranking Member on the latter), what would he know?
Oh, and did I mention that Geller seems to have a predilection for crooks? From the SPLC report on her:
Geller and (then-husband Michael) Oshry were co-owners, along with Christ Tsiropoulous, of at least two car dealerships before the Gellers divorced in 2007. That was the same year Collin Thomas, one of their salesmen, was gunned down while closing their dealership, Universal Auto World, one evening.
The investigation into the murder uncovered an alleged fraud ring. According to the New York Daily News, employees enabled “underground characters,” including “known” drug dealers, to buy luxury cars using fake identities. Eleven people who worked for the dealership, including Tsiropoulous, were arrested, but Geller escaped the scandal unscathed.
Still, “expert” Geller added that President Obama is “consistently on the side of jihadic, Islamic supremacist regimes… This is a consistent anti-freedom policy.”
Predictably, “Great American” Sean Hannity made no objection to this smear on our president right before July 4th.
Geller went on to make this prediction: "Morsi’s confident that nothing’s going to happen because he knows that Obama is not going to side with the protesters. This is very dangerous."
We all know how that turned out. Contrary to her prediction, Morsi was toppled on July 3.
But there’s no reason to believe that Geller won’t be invited back. She has been warmly received as a credible and legitimate expert on Fox News for years.
Please feel free to give Geller some feedback via her website contact page.

It is an absolute certainty that whomever replaces Morsi will be Muslim. Which will lead to more hatemongering by Geller and KKKlannity.
