When a college rejected federal funds in order to be able to discriminate against LGBT students and employees, Fox News applauded.
Last week, Tucker Carlson interviewed Kevin Roberts, Wyoming Catholic College President, about what Carlson called the “bold statement” and “pretty radical step” of “opting out of any financial aid programs funded by the U.S. Government.”
Roberts alluded to shunning a “government that would rather interfere with our Catholic benefits rather than allow us to receive those funds.”
Carlson praised him. “Good for you, that is a stand on principle.”
Roberts continued, “We would have problems with admissions and with employment with a transgender person or someone with a same sex attraction.” He said it “doesn’t square with the college that we have founded.”

Roberts said his school is walking away from “ultimately” $700,000 in federal funds.
Carlson gave the whole thing his stamp of approval: “Wow, that’s what principle looks like.” he replied. “Good for you.”
On Fox News, discrimination is presented as principle.
