On yesterday's Your World, Stuart Varney and Charles Payne smeared President Obama's economic speech of the day before by suggesting he was trying to destroy capitalism. But while we're used to that kind of talk on Fox, Payne took the discussion off the rails by saying he thinks President Obama "would love to see civil unrest in this country very much like the Arab spring."
Varney fed Payne an opening to hate monger by saying, “Social tensions will rise, what do you make of that?”
Payne jumped at the bait. He said, “In my mind, and I hate to say this, but I think President Obama would love to see civil unrest in this country very much like the Arab Spring.”
Stuart sounded stunned “He wants to see it?”
“I think so," Payne said. "I think what he’s trying to do is sort of spark this revolution against the wealthy, against the 1% who are holding us back, who are hoarding this money.”
Is there anything these Fox Newsies won't accuse President Obama of, or hate monger about, in order to advance their right-wing agenda? Sadly, the answer appears to be no.
I hate to say this (actually I don’t) but there seemed to be a tremendous amount of disappointment from Fox, right wing talk radio and blogs that we didn’t have Rodney King like riots after the verdict that many predicted.
