Fox Panel Ignores Bannon And Syria News – Because Susan Rice!

Today, Alt President Steve Bannon was removed from the National Security Council and Russia is making trouble at the U.N. Security Council’s emergency talks over a chemical attack by the Russian-backed Assad government. But the top story for Fox’s Hiked Skirt Brigade aka Outnumbered was… Susan Rice.

NewsHound Richard caught this screen grab showing what was most important to Fox News during the noon hour (ET):

Besides Bannon and Syria, Jordan’s King Abdullah II is visiting the White House. Richard also caught this screenshot at the top of the Outnumbered hour:

King Abdullah's visit was worth a Fox News Alert... but not valuable air time that could be spent trying to bolster the sinking fortunes of Donald Trump!

On Fox News, deflecting from Donald Trump’s Russia troubles and promoting his talking points is always Job #1 (and 2, 3 and...):

Seems like Fox is copying CNN and are not being truthful or are perverting the truth, not relating stories about their favorite heroes in the political sphere

More like Fox News ignores Bannon and Syria reason propaganda.

While Fox News has its hair on fire parroting right-wing blogs’ latest conspiracy theory, CNN experts were saying there’s no there there.

You’d think Fox News would be cheerleading the ending of the Senate being the saucer to the House’s teacup. With the Republican Senate planning to go nuclear option on Supreme Court nominations one of the last pillars of moderation in Washington crumbles.

Isn’t that Fox News’ point in existing? Not just partisan propaganda but agitation propaganda to not only confirm viewers’ extreme right-wing views but to raise bile in their throats to hate the other side with all their passion. Congratulations GOPTV™. You’re a roaring success as we witness our democracy crumble into chaos.

Sorry FOX, but the Susan Rice story ain’t going anywhere or gaining traction because people know there’s nothing there. On the other hand, more & more people are waking up to the fact that 45 is very likely all tied up with Russia, and that story ain’t going away no matter how hard FOX tries to make it so. You reap what you sow MFers. I hope the entire network gets taken down along with Orange Shitgibbon.

The desperation is really starting to show, both at the Pence White House and in Right Wing media as they go all-in for Trump. One really has to wonder what is scaring these people so much that they keep trying to throw up confetti. I’m still trying to figure out why they think it’s news that the National Security Advisor wanted to know about who was talking to foreign spies, particularly when that was potentially affecting one of our elections.

I have no problem with a sober discussion about the ethics of the NSA and surveillance, but it’s frankly surprising to me that the Right Wing is suddenly getting in on the action. Where were they during the W Bush years, when we were dealing with warrantless wiretaps and a whole pile of nastiness that the Right kept stonewalling? Where were they during COINTELPRO?

And it’s bizarre to hear the Right suddenly becoming prurient about people’s names being exposed – they had no such issue about Joe Wilson’s wife being outed a few years ago. Why the change of heart now?

From my rusty old democratic memory, I seem to remember that the last time Syria made a chemical attack was some heavy duty diplomatic lifting for Barack Obama. I’m pretty sure Faux had an opinion on it and would not deviate in any way just because we have a republican president.
