Actor Jon Voight posted a bizarre internet video ad to promote the re-election of Benjamin Netanyahu. It suggested that a vote for Netanyahu is the only way to save Israel and possibly the U.S. from President Obama’s Muslim agenda.
In the video, Voight says:
I love Israel. …President Obama does not love Israel. His whole agenda is to control Israel and this way, he can be friends with all of Israel’s enemies. He doesn’t want Bibi Netanyahu to win this upcoming election. America has not been the same since his presidency. I beg everyone, all of you, to understand the truth. Those, like Isaac Herzog, who believe that deal-making is the solution to what Israel faces are as wrong as Neville Chamberlain believing he made a peace deal with Hitler.
Fox & Friends played the video yesterday in a discussion about today’s election (results still unknown as I write this). Cohost Steve Doocy described Voight as someone “who has been a friend of Israel for a very long time.” Doocy didn't mention that Voight is also an unhinged Obama hater.
In concert with Doocy, FoxNews.com posted Voight’s video, by saying, “Actor Jon Voight, who has long been a friend of Israel, shared his views on President Obama’s relationship with Israel and the importance of tomorrow’s election in a video…”
Last night, Sean Hannity played the video, saying about Voight, “He makes some really hard-hitting comments.”
Guest Dore Gold, a former Netanyahu adviser, didn’t want to endorse the ad. He said, “Look, I appreciate the support that Jon Voight gives us. We will work with the elected president of the United States and we understand the differences. We have a different approach to the Middle East, we see the Middle East differently… But, you know, we don’t get into love, we don’t get into warmth, we don’t get into, you know, do they have a good meal together. We get into what are the interests of Israel, the interests of the United States and how do we protect both our countries.”
But he didn’t object to Fox promoting this extremism, either.
Watch it below, from the March 16 Fox & Friends and Hannity.
I don’t know if Netanyahu has the guts to actually pull the trigger and launch an attack on Iran. That’s why he pleads with Congress to kill any deal with Iran. He’s begging the U.S. to launch a war against Iran so we will be seen as the “great evil” who is trying to destroy Islam.
I fear that if a Republican is elected in 2016, that road will have already been paved.
And then, to me scandalously, a former Netanyahu aide named Birnbaum, ostensibly an American, announced that Obama’s attitude towards Israel was exactly the same as Ferguson, where nobody ever mentions “black-on-white crime.”
Where rock these people crawl out from under to get their faces on Fox?
