Fox & Friends Promotes ‘Hillary Killed My Friends’ Benghazi Merchandise

Fox & Friends spent part of the July 4th weekend showcasing a former Navy SEAL who doesn’t just blame Hillary Clinton for his friends’ deaths in Benghazi but has now come out with a line of merchandise saying, “Hillary Killed My Friends.”

Peter Doocy introduced former navy SEAL Tej Gill by saying, “A former NAVY Seal taking aim at Hillary Clinton with a controversial t-shirt reading ‘Hillary Clinton Killed My Friends’ and it’s getting a lot of attention.”

Doocy continued by setting up Gill to attack Clinton and promote his merchandise: “Very controversial. You’ve got bumper stickers and t-shirts that you say are very popular in the SEAL community that say, ‘Hillary killed my friends.’ What do you mean by that?”

Gill said a friend created the bumper stickers which have “gone viral.”  He claimed,  “We’ve had nothing but positive feedback inside and outside of the SEAL community.”

Doocy feigned pushing back – but really set up more Clinton attacking – by asking why Gill blames Hillary Clinton and not the terrorists for the deaths of his friends.

Gill took the bait. He said he does blame the terrorists and blames Clinton because, “She was the secretary of state. The consulate ultimately was her responsibility. The security at the consulate was poor at best.  The terrorists literally pushed the gate in, open, and walked in. The security that was there was local security. They weren’t trained. They weren’t vetted. They didn’t have American supervisors. They just threw down their guns and walked away when the attack started. So my friends down the street at the CIA annex, they had to rescue the State Department folks and they lost their lives that night when they were in the fight of their life.”

Of course, Doocy did not challenge or question a single assertion. Instead, he asked, “Are the SEALS you are still in contact with comfortable serving under a potential Commander-in-Chief Clinton?”

“I don’t think they have a choice if she gets elected,” Gill answered. “They don’t want to do it but they will. That’s their job.”

While I have the utmost respect for those who serve our country and were involved in Benghazi, I doubt that if anyone was selling similar merchandise about George W. Bush and the Iraq war, that person would probably never get Fox airtime to promote his or her wares.

Well, listening to Donald Trump’s latest conspiracy theories regarding “crooked Hillary” as he does his usual over-the-top spittle shower raging over what everyone [except Fox News and Republican Clinton haters] expected – Hillary wasn’t indicted – I can imagine how my buds at “Fox & Friends” kicked that story off today. ;^)

Ellen, Brian, Pricilla, et al I pity you – I’m being serious here – that you have to watch their obsessive rage. The oh-so-liberal ‘mainstream’ media is raging over it enough. I can but imagine GOP TV’s coverage.

Recall Fox News [even to this day] having kittens over Howard Dean’s scream? I can’t imagine the hypocrites getting anything but a huge boner over Trump’s screaming which make Dean’s look like a hiccup.

John Howard I wonder about this guy’s credentials also. Wouldn’t be the first time Faux has had a fake in the professianal expert chair.

I thought the SEAL have an oath of never talking about what ever goes on in their small but tight circle. Is this dude even a seal or just another hire mouth piece like the other security expert that is now in jail. Poor FAUX FAKE NEWS, bless their little heart, they are going down I almost feel pity, I said almost!!!!! LOL!!!!!

Fox News bulls—t such as this is how America grew so angry a complete crackpot like The Donald became a Republican nominee for president.

Exactly at what point in time did a CIA outpost become a US Consulate facility?

You could say a whole lot more about W than Clinton. There is a new book about W out just today. Written by a respected author. The author thinks George W Bush was the worst president ever saying so in the first sentence of the book. What do you think the odds are that a respected author like that gets invited to Faux?

I know. Never. He’s not hawking cheap tacky t shirts that run down Hillary. Just a fact laden book about the worst president ever.

This is grotesque and anti-American. But of course Fox will throw the most repulsive, indecent insults at Clinton, not caring a bit if it harms the country, so long as the Republican Party will benefit. Can you imagine a t-shirt that said “W. destroyed the Twin Towers”?

And these are the people who long for those wholesome days of yore when people knew how to behave. The truth is Fox has been lowering the bar for decent behavior and commentary for the past 20 years.

Dave, I disagree. If he’s behaving like this now, he was never worthy of anyone’s respect.

At one time, this guy was worthy of our respect. But this crosses a line. Like Gary Byrne, he has sold out to a money making scheme. As a result, he is now a disgrace to the uniform.
